A shoutout..! The best homemade Ice Cream and Gelato in town !!! In our visit to Gananoque, we visited "Pump House creamery" twice.. It is absolutely amazing. We tried several flavours and we liked them all šŸ˜‰ I enjoyed the "Speculoos" one so much. Its mix of ginger, caramel and vanilla base with some crunches. it is brilliant. Also the "Chocolate Peanut", it is great with its peanut crunches. I really enjoyed it too. Kids tried the "cookie monster". It was amazing. They enjoyed it a lot with its bluey color. And we also tried the "chocolate brownies" . My wife enjoyed a lot the "Chocolate Orange" gelato. Experience was great. Also I can see that one scoop of icecream on a cone is more than enough.. Nice and cozy place with few seats outside to eat your icecream and enjoy the view of the fountain and the nice weather ;)

Amazing little shop in a beautiful location, with delicious ice cream, cookies, pastries, and drinks. I’ve made my way through about half of their menu, and everything has been amazing. So far, the insanely creamy and rich salted caramel ice cream has been my favourite. It’s no doubt one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. Also, their peanut butter cookie bars are fantastic, coming in at a close second. No matter what you chose though, you truly can’t go wrong, and they always have interesting new flavours & items rotating in. Considering the quality it’s fairly reasonably priced, and the owners are really kind, too, so it feels good supporting this relatively new small business. I’m so happy a place like this exists in Gan, so thank you Pump House!

I have a weakness for icecream, and places like this really don't make it easy for me! This is a small creamery with some unique flavors located next to a small water body in downtown Gananoque and would highly recommend it. I had the chocolate orange Gelato which was absolutely delicious. My family had the Kalua Coffee icecream and the Toblerone icecream and both were really good. We loved the Kalua icecream but would recommend tasting it before buying as it might be too strong for some (the owner made sure we tasted it before taking as it is a unique flavor!) The owner was quite sweet and put in a little extra icecream in for each of us!

This charming little ice cream shop is a hidden gem, serving up rich, homemade-quality scoops that hit all the right notes. The flavors are fresh, creamy, and clearly made with care—none of that artificial aftertaste you get at chain spots. From campfire and caramel flavored icecream to more adventurous seasonal picks, everything we tried was delicious. What really elevates the experience is its location just steps from Confederation Park. After grabbing your cone or cup, you can stroll over, find a shady bench, and enjoy your treat while watching the ducks glide across the pond. The park’s calm, green setting is the perfect backdrop for a quiet moment, making the whole outing feel like a mini escape from the city. this combo of great ice cream and peaceful surroundings is hard to beat. A perfect summer stop you'll want...

Not a good selection of flavours and it’s changed a lot …small portions for what you pay. Also the town became woke and this place proved it. I used to live in Gan and came back to visit- now it’s ruined with woke-ness and hate. Reason I say this is because while buying the ice cream, the worker was telling us about their competitors which is Stella Luna ice cream from Pistachio cafe in town.. and they called them ā€œthose trucker peopleā€. What type of customer service is this.. why talk about politics when I never asked your opinion? Canadians have become angry, miserable people . This is why I rather go to USA and support them. More generous and humble people. If you’re American and you see this- don’t bother supporting Canadian businesses. They are passive aggressive and fall for the propaganda they are fed( cbc...
