Wetzel's Pretzels — Attraction in Ottawa

The sample we tried before purchase was so stale I could crack a tooth. Threw them out but were hopeful to try fresh food so we went back.

The pretzel dog was over cooked, the first one we bought had almost raw dough that covered maybe a quarter of the dog. We asked for a second which was better but still a very small thin layer of pretzel that immediately fell apart and slipped off the hotdog 🥲 The cinnamon sugar pretzel 🥨 was mediocre, quite…. Chewy but not as stale as their sample thankfully.

I came here again wanting a pretzel and ended up standing around for 7 mins tell I finally decided to try and look for somebody and both people at the burrito and wetzels were hiding where you couldn’t see them.

Maybe who’s ever running the show here should watch the staff more because clearly being on their phones and socializing is more important...

Great service with à smile. My first time here. So tasty, fresh and warm. Wow! The best He made the wrong kind of pretzel, which i realized after tasting it, and offered to make à New fresh one.. Open untill late: perfect for à snack before going back home...
