Sushiman — Restaurant in Ottawa

I've ordered here before with no issue. I was so disgusted by my order today I had to warn others. I received 2 sushi rolls tonight with mold and rotting food in it. I took photos. You can see some dark brown but also deep black mold on some parts. They had to have seen this while cutting the veggies and rolling up these rolls I ate 2 pieces before noticing as there was a weird taste. I took them apart to find all pieces had a moldy chunk of avocado in them. This is completely unacceptable for a resteraunt. I was shocked to see another reviewer had a similar issue. Shame on you Sushiman for sending moldy food to your customers. Yuck! Hope I don't get sick from this.

Follow up: tried emailing the owner using the email provided. The email doesn't work :/ I'd also like to note we did get sick from eating your food.

I am shocked that this resteraunt doesn't plan to take ownership of sending customers moldy food. I highly recommend not eating here as you can get sick. What a terrible experience. Very rude customer service. Amira forced me to buy the wrap they previously made, it did not look fresh at all. Because I had it once it tasted awful, so this time I rejected it, but Amira was very aggressive, and said if I don’t take this one, Amira won’t make me a new one. Ordered “tuna rocket -slightly spicy”. Arrived flat and in pieces. Terrible wrapping job. Delivered in a plastic clamshell so you know nothing in the badge was crushing it. Just poor wrapping job. Apparently “slightly spicy” means cover it in spicy mayonnaise. 1 dimensional flavour (spicy mayo is all you taste) Response from the owner on other reviews is pretty pathetic.
