I just took Michelle's Resin class and I had the best time!! Michelle is a wonderful artist and teacher, and she makes her class fun and light-hearted while giving all the instructions you need to go wild and be creative. She includes all the materials as well, for an incredibly reasonable price, so it's easy to just enjoy without having to think too hard. It was my first class at Hippo Art Studio, and it's a wonderful space. Cozy with lots of inspiration around from Michelle's own beautiful artwork. I'm going to take one of Michelle's painting classes next, and I'm hoping for a resin series if we can get enough people to come, so that we can explore more techniques with this fabulous medium! We had our daughter's 6th birthday party at Hippo Art Studio. From initial communication, until the end of the party, we had nothing but a positive experience. Michelle is an exceptional woman; her facility and processes are run very smoothly ensuring a stress-free experience.

She did an incredible job of guiding the kids through their art projects with patience and encouragement. In the end they felt super proud of their creations and overall had a joyous time.

I took an epoxy resin art class. The covid-19 protocols were excellent. Michelle measured everyone’s temperature as they come in and asked us to wash hands. The class size is small and comfortable. There were dividers on the desks and social distance well practised. I’m a beginner and I felt very at ease with the instructions. It was very fun trying out something new. My artwork turned out gorgeous! Michelle was so patient and encouraging. The class was such a great value! I took home two pieces of canvas that I could proudly display at home.
