The Bond Lake Trail offers a scenic and peaceful hike, with beautiful views of the lake and its surrounding nature. While some sections are steep and can get muddy, they’re easily manageable with proper hiking shoes. The trail is well-suited for leashed dogs and kids aged six and up.
The only real downside to this lovely area is the amount of litter left behind by some visitors. It’s disheartening to see garbage, like McDonald’s wrappers and beer cans scattered around, especially near fire spots. If you carried it in, you can carry it out.
