Flipafone — Attraction in Richmond Hill

Few months back l. Bought an open box iphone that seemed like a great deal. They said it was just over 2 months old. And worked fine. I should have known was too good to be true. Brought it to Apple. Apple they showed me it had water damage. Called left messages texted tried to contact no reply. SKEPTICAL ABOUT ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS THAT SAY SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. LOOKING AT THE REVIEWS AFTER THE FACT. THEYRE ALL VERY SHORT almost identical . THE REVIEWS ARE ALL A BIT TOO SIMILAR THE WAY THEYRE WORDED. IF YOU LOOK ALL REVIEWS ARE BOT-LIKE. And seem the same. Almost making people believe this is the best deal in town. AND WHEN THE COMPANY DID REPLY TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS. THEIR RESPONSE IS TOO COOKIE CUTTER AND EVASIVE. THEM TELLING CUSTOMERS ITS WATER RESISTANT NOT WATER PROOF. AND THE REVIEWS ARE ALL THE SAME AND NOT VERY INDIVIDUALIZED. THE PLACE SAYS LEAVE US A REVIEW WILL GIVE YOU A CASE OR SCREEN PROTECTOR. HENCE WHY ALL THE REVIEWS SOUND LIKE THEY WERE DONE AT THE COUNTER BY PEOPLE WHO WROTE GREAT PLACE BEST IN TOWN. JUST SO THEY CAN GET THE FREEBIE. MOST OF THE REVIEWS SOUND LIKE BOTS OR PEOPLE THEY ASKED TO LEAVE GOOD REVIEWS. SKETCHY GREAT PLACE TO BUY A PHONE CHEAPEST PRICES IN TOWN *BOUGHT A PHONE QUICK AND EASY *BEST PLACE TO BUY IN TORONTO LOVE MY PHONE EVERY REVIEW SEEMS TO PRE CALCULATED. Phone Should have known because before I bought it, they were slow getting back to me. Never really answered my questions they just told me what they had in stock. The service wasn’t 5 star and the product wasn’t clean. I’m not sure how others got such good service.

The owner of this business reached out to me after my review. He did not simply offer me something material for me to edit my review, he took ownership of the situation and admitted what went wrong, did the necessary investigation to do his best to solve any and all issues, as a business owner should. I appreciate the time he spent discussing with me and that is why I’m changing my review, because his customer service prevailed. Don’t know what happened over the past few years, but it’s like I contacted a completely different company. I wanted to contact FlipAFone as I had another phone to sell, but they were just completely unresponsive. I asked for a quote and didn’t get one until several days after I texted, and then a day later they came back saying I got the wrong quote. I asked a question about this quote and have not gotten a response (it’s been about a month). Can’t recommend this place anymore (ended up selling it for more than it was quoted).

FlipAFone's number and service was aggressively marketed on Kijiji but honestly? Good. This is the best and only place you should go to sell your phone for cash. They respond quickly to inquiries through text and offer the best price (I have shopped my iPhone XS Max around different places also being listed on Kijiji and literally no one beats FlipAPhone's pricing). They have a nice office and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Will definitely be coming back here and referring others if they need...

I was looking to sell my mint condition, rarely used Samsung Galaxy Tablet S9+ and FlipAPhone offered a decent price in its quotation for 14 days. I went in store today to find a very clean store front and a pleasant team.

The representative who helped me was extremely professional. She proceeded to inspect the item, ran through some tests, and again reset the device. Everything was handled professionally.

I liked how the store has security cameras and locks so that it’s a safe space. Within 5 minutes, I was paid the agreed amount based on the quotation and left happily knowing my device will find a new home and getting some cash back rather than dealing with the hassle of online selling on my own.

Their pricing is fair and service is excellent. Nothing to complain about and I would recommend their services if one were to sell off their unused or rarely used devices. The email communication before selling off was straight forward. The store was even quick to reply that they were indeed opened on a holiday Monday. Thank you for the pleasant...
