Today, my four friends and I went to Richmond Hill Pro Bowl. Upon arrival, we took a moment to decide how many lanes we should book for our game. A staff member named Paul, who was standing at the counter, asked if he could help us. I politely responded, "Please give us a moment," but he reacted by shaking his head in a very disrespectful and clearly racist manner, followed by quietly muttering a profanity.
I was truly disappointed to witness such behavior in a recreational and sports facility, where people come to have an enjoyable time. At first, we decided to ignore this inappropriate behavior. However, after making our payment and collecting our bowling shoes, when we approached the lane to start our game, one of my friends accidentally started playing before officially entering his name. At that moment, Paul suddenly yelled, "Hey! Why did you start?"
When we questioned why he was shouting, he rudely responded, "Because you're stupid."
My primary concern is directed towards the management of this facility. I strongly urge the owner to take some time to review the security footage from today at 12:25 PM to observe Paulâs behavior firsthand. Additionally, if you check the reviews, you will notice that many visitors have complained about Paul's rude and inappropriate attitude.

Read moreRichmond Hill Pro Bowling offers a classic Canadian bowling experience that's fun for all ages. The alley has a great selection of weighted bowling balls, making it easy to find the right fit whether you're a beginner or more experienced. We opted for 10-pin and 5-pin bowling for an hour which felt like the perfect amount of time for casual play.
We visited on a Sunday evening, and the place was pleasantly quiet, a great break from sightseeing. Itâs a fantastic spot for singles, couples, and families. They also offer 5-pin bowling and bowling ramp, which is ideal for kids or anyone looking for a lighter option. Our children enjoyed themselves, and itâs a great family, friendly environment. I just wish there were more arcade games available as they only had a couple of them, and a few more would really add to the experience for younger visitors.
The staff were friendly and efficient, setting us up quickly. They were helpful if needed help like even when kids asking for changing bills to coins for the couple arcades. It's a first-come, first-served setup, so Iâd recommend just showing up rather than trying to make a reservation by phone. The food and drink options are limited and fairly average, but itâs not a deal breaker given the overall experience.
Highly recommended for a fun, laid-back...
Read moreFriday evening I went to Pro Bowl for the first time with my friends. What should have been a very pleasant/fun experience turned into a very disappointing experience. Understanding that it was a busy night, my friends and I patiently waited for a lane to become available. However, when I asked the staff at the front desk how much longer the wait would be (just to get an overall idea) the staff was unbelievably rude and told us that we should âjust leave if we canât waitâ. He also stated in a harsh tone, âcanât you see that we are busy!â Since my friends and I were excited to bowl, I brushed it off and decided to get us food from the bar area. Thank gosh the staff at the bar was trained in customer service as he was helpful and very attentive towards our needs. I explained my frustration to him regarding the front desk staff and he apologized on their behalf. Despite being busy at the bar, he didnât rush us as my friend was having a difficult time ordering. The food was delicious. After eating we decided do leave because I asked agin regarding the wait time which was followed by another rude response. To the owner of Pro Bowl, please train your front desk staff and promote your bar staff. I will give Pro Bowl another chance because it does look like a fun place when you...
