I came by this week for some frozen dim sum and picked up some of their new BBQ items as well. This is my first visit to their Richmond location but we've gotten their products from the location in Vancouver before. We always love their shrimp wontons and this time I tried the steamed Chicken Buns and LOVED it. Soft and fluffy, tasted just like when you go out to dim sum (maybe better)!
For the BBQ items, we chose multiple items including their BBQ pork (cha siu), BBQ pork chops with lemongrass, chicken thigh in garlic sauce, crispy chicken wings and my favourite, the fermented bean curd pork fingers. All of the items were very flavourful and cooked up really nicely on the BBQ. Perfect for a summer party, family dinner or can even just be thrown into the air fryer/pan fried!
Great selection of products that are delicious, authentic and make for...
Read moreWe tried the BBQ pork buns, bite size sticky rice buns and baked pork chop rice. DELICIOUS! The baked pork chop rice needed a bit of assembly but well worth the time. Preheated the oven to broil @ 400F, assembled the dish with rice at the bottom, pork chops and sauce over top. Finally sprinkled parmassen cheese on top and broil for about 10 minutes. Be careful not to burnt the topping. It sounds complicated but it's still less work than making the dish from scratch. You can heat and eat but it's not as tasty. The other dim sums I bought just required...
Read moreMy friend recommended this store, there are various options for Hong Kong-style dim sum and traditional dishes. I noticed some non-Chinese people, like White and Japanese bought lots of stuff. It made me happy to see people from different cultures loving HK food. At last, I bought the most iconic items like shrimp dumplings and siu mei (tasty and fresh texture)and also some desserts like wife cake(fluffy skin with soft filling, not too sweet) and tapioca pudding. As a newcomer from Hong Kong, I am satisfied with their products. They are all delicious, easy to make, and recall memories of my hometown. I will surely come back for...
