Yummyslice Pizza — Restaurant in Richmond

So I decided to try this place because it has a pretty high star rating and is pretty cheap as far as pizza goes.

Having tried it, I don't understand why, as I don't think it deserves the rating it has. It reminds me of the other pizza place in Richmond called Fusion Feast. Many of the reviews say this place is like Fresh Slice and I have to say, it's nothing like Fresh Slice. I get pizza by the slice there fairly regularly and their crust is completely different.

It's like the crust is from a bag, not made in store from scratch, and requires barely any baking or something, because the toppings are hardly cooked at all. I got the Yummy Works pizza and a bunch of the pineapple on top was fresh out of the can, like completely raw, not even cooked at all. That's not cool and it wasn't good.

The taste is just ok. It's food in the shape of a pizza but it's not real pizza in my opinion. Even Pizza Hut has better crust, and I hate Pizza Hut. If you want relatively cheap, edible food I'd say ok go for it but if you are looking for actual good pizza go somewhere else. I don't think I will return here, unfortunately.

I ordered from uber eats for the buy one get one free offer. They only delivered one pizza. When I went directly to the store to inquire on the reason for only one pizza being delivered. The man at the front said it was because I didn't select the pizza twice. I then asked if it was possible to make the second pizza there since it would've been the same price anyways since it was buy one get one free and he straight up said "No, i tried calling you once, I did my job. you're not getting a second pizza". They have some pretty good pizza deals such as 3 topping medium pizza for only $9.99. Overall, fast and friendly service – makes a tasty and easy meal or snack!
