Alright food, horrible service. My family and I were regulars until suddenly the older waitress working there was aggressive and had a horrendous attitude. She muttered rude comments under her breath when my family asked for water (after receiving our food already) then when I went up to pay she had already clicked on the 15% tip button (I didn’t want to upset her further so I just paid and left). Before anyone thinks we were being difficult customers that somehow caused this attitude - we definitely weren’t! I was a waitress myself and always treat customer service employees respectfully and kindly. Although we live close by and this was a fast cheap dinner for days we didn’t want to cook, it’s not worth having to deal with that crummy, loud, and straight up mean waitress. If you’re craving some ACTUALLY good vietnamese food I highly suggest Baoguette near Lansdowne (an extra 10 min drive) for some much better food...
Read moreA charming family-owned PHÕ restaurant and had an outstanding dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a friendly server who immediately made me feel at home. Her genuine smile and attention to detail was remarkable, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the spring rolls. They were incredibly crunchy and crisp, packed with a generous amount of fresh ingredients. Every bite was delightful explosion of textures and flavours.
The vermicelli dishes were equally impressive, with tender and smooth noodles perfectly complementing the vibrant and fresh ingredients. The phõ soup was piping hot and bursting with rich and complex flavours that were truly satisfying.
This family-run gem stands out not only for its delicious food but also for its exceptional service. I can’t wait to return and enjoy...
Read moreWas touring in Vancouver with my family and this was the first place we went to go eat at. The service was fast but the owner took advantage of us knowing that we're tourist from the US bc I paid in American cash. The total came up to $167 and I gave her $170. She said that I needed to tip 10% and that I needed to give her $20 more. I was confused so I tried to grab my $10 back and give her the $20 but she said no and said that I needed to give her $20 and she'll give me $3 back. I didn't make a fuss bc I just assumed she knew what she was doing and she did. She tipped herself at least $60. So if you come here and you're a tourist, I'd recommend you use card so you don't get ripped...
