Where do I even begin?!?!

I’m ADDICTED to this restaurant…Every time I come I get AMAZING service — all the ladies are amazing, attentive, beautiful, kind and sweet. Also the female chef in the kitchen is so sweet, I think she might be the head chef or owner? She looks like she’s the sweetest person ever, you can just see it in her face how kind her soul is. She cooks the best meals, you can taste the LOVE, effort and good energy channeled into the food. Some restaurants don’t cook their food with love/patience and it reflects in the food. Their portions are generous and quality is consistent!!!

I’ve ordered various things off their menu and every dish was outstanding. I’d recommend (list is in randomized order) :

Kadahi with prawn/lamb/chicken. Butter masala with lamb is an excellent choice for people that want the gamey flavor of the lamb to be less noticeable. Butter traditional Butter classic is delicious and if you don’t want it to taste strong in tomato flavor, get hot or extra hot spice level and it weakens the tomato flavor a bit!

chicken lemon garlic tikka chicken malai tikka (this one was out of this world……..) coleslaw (actually so delicious…. strong in black pepper flavor and they add red onions) noodle spring rolls (sooooooo good and made fresh so takes time but soooooooo delicious) samosa (again…. so good) patiala roll on their lunch special (so so so so good too and FILLING. I drown my roll in butter chicken sauce oh my it’s to die for)

I always order takeout and they fill up their containers almost all the way to the top (cannot fill it up to 100% or else it will overflow). This place does not lack when it comes to portions, trust me! Their curries are loaded with...

Before going, was skeptical about the solid 5-star rating and good reviews. Thought new-ish restaurant, so all relatives and friends doing reviews. Lol.

Nope. This place is for real.

Dined in with my family for lunch. Interior is small (seating for 15- 20?), yet clean and casually stylish (Ikea-ish). The place looked and felt new. Was nice they had good cutlery, and a clean bathroom -- the little things count.

During our meal, many came in to pick-up their take-out orders, and most looked Indian -- a strong endorsement, IMHO.

Server and staff were ridiculously polite and friendly. Eg; walked by kitchen on way to bathroom, and older lady gathering veggies smiled to say hi. So, I assume this is a happy place -- both front and back of house. Wow. Our server was awesome -- sincere customer service, and happy to accommodate requests -- eg; straws, doggy-bag packages, etc.

We ordered various versions of the lunch specials. Food was crazy deliscious and presented nicely on decent plates. And, the kicker was that prices were incredibly reasonable.

No brainer to come again. Killer value-for-money. Service, premises, food -- all top notch. Best restaurant experience I've had in ages. For sure, we'll become regulars for both dine-in and take-out. (Texted my friends to try this place -- "Go, you won't...

i visited this resturant with my family. Man in a black outfit used foul language with my kids for three times. At first my husband ignored, second time i told him nicely that they are kids not an Adult. Third time he started yelling and scaring my kids to get out and as a result kids started crying. when i confronted him he said we are not good parents and yelled at me and my family. Well this third class resturant’s staff said this is our regular client that doesn't mean he has right to drink in public and use foul language and scare Children . Without knowing the whole story some uneducated people are commenting. People are in humane and have no right to tell Parents how to raise kids. Involving Police is my right where my kids and family doesn’t feel safe. Banning innocent people and saying mean words doesn’t make your resturant safe for visit in future for any family with kids. you guys should put up a board ‘Family With Children’ not allowed. Your staff needs to go back to school and learnow and what to say in such situations. My suggestion, go visit restaurants in lower mainland and see how they treat families respectfully. Tell your staff not to ask for 5 star reviews for zero star service. Shameless employer and employees continuously defending that...

Inspired by the amazing food I tried at a recent Indian wedding, I've been searching for great Indian food closer to home. I was completely blown away by Village Curry and Spice. Every bite was fresh and punctuated by so much delicious flavour and spice. Here's what I thought of each dish I tried: -Samosa: different from other samosas I've tried, the shell was thin and crispy and the delicious filling paired nicely with the sweet sauce. These are the best samosas I've tried -Fish tikka: when this came out it was a show stopper! The fish was so tender that it fell apart with a touch of my fork. We chose hot as the spice level and it was perfect with a nice kick. The sauce that came with it really balanced out the heat with a cooler and creamier touch -Masala butter curry with chicken and a side of garlic naan: our server gave us a number of recommendations based on what protein and spice level we wanted. We ended up going with the masala butter curry with a spice level of hot. It was so rich and the soft garlic naan was a great neutral side The service was also warm and the portions were more than expected with the price (we had lots of leftovers and were stuffed). I can't wait to come back and eat my way through the menu!
