My family and I recently visited Unwin Park and I must say it was an incredible experience for both the kids and us adults! The variety of activities available is fantastic. There are slides, swings, climbing structures, and even a splash pad that kept the kids entertained for hours. The layout of the park is spacious, allowing plenty of room and green areas for children to run around freely without feeling overcrowded. The playground equipment is well-maintained and clean, which made us feel comfortable letting our little ones explore. One of the highlights was the creative play area, where kids could engage in imaginative play with different themed sections. It was wonderful to see our children’s faces light up as they navigated through these areas, making new friends along the way. The park also has plenty of shaded seating areas and picnic tables for picnics and birthday parties. Parents can relax while keeping an eye on their kids. Overall, Unwin Park exceeded our expectations. It’s a perfect destination for families looking to spend a fun-filled day outdoors. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreI'll start with the negative first, because there is really only one, and then I will go onto the positives. The park is dirty. It sucks. People are truly terrible, disgusting creatures. This is a kids park, clean up after yourselves. So much Starbucks garbage everywhere, even though there are garbage cans. Come on people...
A half negative could be that its a busy park, but other than leaving garbage everywhere people are pretty considerate, kids all end up playing with each other and sharing the various things to do. It's a welcoming place. It's got this spongy ground which is so much better than sand, or even worse wood chips. And there are different areas of the playground, so even when my son could only crawl there was still places he could crawl and explore and have so much fun. In the summers there is a water park area so bring swimsuits and expect the kids to run through water and get wet.
Overall a great playground for all ages and I would recommend bringing your kids here, just remember to please keep...
Read moreLoved this park for so many reasons!! The best feature of this park is, how Inclusive it was! The entire play structure is accessible for Wheelchairs! Play Instruments allowed room for a wheelchair to fit for the musician! There was a sign that taught Brail! The lack of park benches close to the play structure encouraged parents to play with their children, however lack of benches made it difficult for me to nurse my youngest while being close to my older children. My children were entertained for quite sometime and we had to leave before they told us they were ready to leave.
I was thoroughly impressed overall and hope many more play structures become as inclusive! Only con, is that it would be nice to have a few park benches close to the play structure.
The park had lots of green space and a splash park we did not participate in the splash...
