Horrible slow as f✨✨✨ service.
Didn’t have to wait to be seated, but waited painfully long for everything else.
The hostess left us a menu, but we were not informed about any food or drink specials.
I had seen a sign about some steak special, but it was not spoke of nor was on the menu so I forgot all about it.
We waited for a good 20-25 m before our server even made an appearance.
He said he would be right with us, but we waited another 10 m before he took a drink order.
He failed to inform us that liquor sales were done by 10 pm, nor was last call ever mentioned. (Spoiler Alert - I only ever got my one drink. )
We waited even longer for our drinks to arrive. He never offered or brought out any water - this is a Hot wing place - water should be a given!!!
When we ordered our drinks, we also ordered Potato Skins (well done) again, they took at least 25 m to arrive !!
We had talked about leaving and going elsewhere to eat Dinner, as this was getting ridiculous, but we discovered that places were closing early and drinks were pretty much done at this point, so we sucked it up.
Finally - Drinks came, I asked about a second drink, and only then did he tell us about liquor service being done.
At this point we ordered our food. We were going to split the Chicken Alfredo, with extra garlic toast.
We waited and waited and waited. A table who had come half hour after us had their food, so we were really getting put off.
Finally someone dropped off the Potato Skins - they looked great - but we had no side plates, no cutlery, no napkins, no salt & pepper.
My Husband had to go ask the Bartender for the items mentioned above- he actually brought it all out promptly.
Did our server come by to ask if we needed anything ? To see how the food was ? To take our menus and offer water ?
You guessed it ! No. ! And it wasn’t even busy !! At all!!
Finally our entree came. The server actually brought it out. JC bet me that there would be no extra plate - and that bet was won!
Most other places will actually split the food in the kitchen for you . Now we weren’t expecting that - but a second plate would be common sense- No ??
So he brings another plate, but no new cutlery, napkins, water or the offer of fresh ground pepper.
Surprise surprise ! We never even saw him again ! No asking how it was, if we would like a beverage, or anything.,
No offer of desert - We didn’t even get the Bill !!!
We saw a manager in our section, but he couldn’t be bothered to come say hi - let alone apologize, or help out.
This dining experience stretched out far past 90 mins. We were over having our time waisted.
We joked we could up and leave and probably wouldn’t be noticed !
We finally went up to the front and asked the girl there if we could pay her, as we just wanted to leave.
The only saving grace of this whole thing was that all the food (when it did finally come ) was excellent. Very tasty. Cooked well and decent portions.
Still, the poor service definitely left a bad taste in our mouth.

Read moreI’ve noticed something concerning during a few of my recent visits, specifically involving one of the managers, Anne. While she was speaking to us, there was definitely a smell of alcohol on her breath. It gave the impression that she might have been under the influence while on shift, which felt really unprofessional.
This is not the first time I’ve noticed it either. At first, I did not want to assume anything, but after it has happened more than once, it is hard not to say something.
Anne is very nice to customers, but almost to the point where it feels forced and uncomfortable. I also noticed she only seems friendly with a small group of employees. With everyone else, she comes across as passive or even rude. That shift in energy is noticeable even from the outside.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. It creates an uncomfortable environment and should not be ignored.

I returned recently and was shocked to see you clearly intoxicated while on shift which confirms this is an ongoing serious issue rather than an isolated incident
Your response to my review is concerning It avoids addressing the real problems and instead shifts responsibility back onto me as if I should have come to you directly This approach feels manipulative and does not reflect accountability
Given the nature of the complaints it would have been more appropriate for someone other than yourself to respond Your reply raises questions about professionalism and intention which only adds to my concerns
No I will not be contacting you directly to discuss this as you suggested That would be unreasonable given the circumstances
It is not the responsibility of a customer to confront a manager who is creating a toxic workplace and compromising safety through misconduct I spoke up because I care and expected these issues to be taken seriously but clearly that has not happened
If this behavior continues it risks the safety and well-being of both staff and customers I urge the company to recognize the severity of this situation and take immediate corrective action before further harm occurs
If nothing is done I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to higher management and external authorities to ensure the issues are addressed

We went for a last minute dinner on 15-Feb-2025 since we haven't been to WINGS in many, many years and it used to be a go-to spot. Initially, we were seated and had our orders taken fairly quickly. However, we waited a significantly long time for the food to arrive. The starters came at the same time as the mains even though we asked for them to come first. I ordered a beer which never came (it was never rung up in the first place).
One person got the provolone beef dip and the jus was very salty to the point of being inedible. One person got the BC Honey Q wings and offered me a bite; although the taste was OK, the temperature felt off, as if the sauce came from a packet that was thawed in a bowl of hot water or the whole dish was sitting at the counter for too long before being sent by the kitchen. I had the warm pastrami sandwich and it was also OK, but I felt like the bread may have been stale because taking bites of the crust was difficult and made my palate sore. On the plus side, the fries and dipping sauces were great.
In addition to the long wait, the service was awful. I observed multiple empty tables in our section that still needed to be bussed. The server assigned to our table paid very little attention to us; they didn't refill our drinks, bus our empty plates, and we had to flag someone else down for our bill. When we paid, they did not apologize for the wait and had a nonchalant response when we tried to provide feedback about the salty beef dip jus.
