I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Nepalese restaurant and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, the ambiance took me on a journey to the beautiful landscapes of Nepal.
The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by Sonia, our server. She greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that immediately made us feel welcome. Her knowledge of the menu was remarkable, guiding us through the authentic Nepalese dishes with great patience.
Sonia's recommendations were spot-on, ensuring that our taste buds were delighted with every bite. Her attention to detail and willingness to cater to our dietary preferences made the whole dining experience seamless and enjoyable.
Not only was Sonia attentive and professional, but she also exuded a passion for the cuisine and culture of Nepal. She shared fascinating stories about the origins of the dishes and the traditions behind them, adding an extra layer of richness to our meal.
The food itself was nothing short of heavenly. Each dish was a harmonious blend of flavors, spices, and textures that transported us to the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. From the succulent momo dumplings to the aromatic chicken curry, every dish was a work of art.
The restaurant's commitment to authenticity was evident in every aspect, from the traditional decor to the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for an immersive dining experience.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this Nepalese restaurant to anyone craving an adventure for their taste buds. And if you have the pleasure of dining there, be sure to ask for Sonia. Read moreGreat Food. Great Ambience and Great Service . Shout-out to Preet and Sonia for being wonderful waiters and serving their customers well making sure we always have water and aren't delayed on our orders. Me and my friends ordered Spring Roll, Pani Puri, Jhol Chicken Mommos, and Veg Chowmein And Fish Chilli First Of all the restaurant Offers Spice Levels which is comparable to actual spicy food in india , you can always ask them the to make a dish extra spicy, I promise, you won't be disappointed by their spice levels. I'm not a person who eats "Extremely Spicy food" , but my friends asked for the veg Chowmein to be extra hot and they were not disappointed. It was a little too spicy for me , but then again I know what I was getting into. If you are looking for spicy food definitely go ahead over here. Next up I would like to mention my favourite dishes, First I would like to mention Jhol Chicken Momos. This dish was exquisite which had authentic Momos dipped in a Yellow Soup/Gravy. The momos itself were tasty on their own and when paired with the gravy gave a whole different experience of having momos. This was the first time I was trying this kind of momos and it surpassed all of my expectations. I will definitely be visiting this place again to have those momos! The other dish which was my favourite was the Fish Chilli. It was similar to most Indian-Chinese dishes but it tasted perfect. The Balance of sweet and spicy and the spices was amazing. This dish was very standard but It was made with perfection. If I visit this place again I will sure have these two dishes again and try a few other authentic nepalese and Indian Dishes. Ambience of the place was also pretty nice It felt a little nepalese / north indian. And was decent. There is also a robot server who serves food which is pretty fun to...
Read moreSpice of Nepal offers an authentic taste of Nepalese cuisine, making it a hidden gem for food lovers seeking something different. From the moment you step in, the cozy, warm ambiance and traditional decor transport you to Nepal. The restaurant is small but inviting, with a friendly staff that instantly makes you feel at home.
The menu is a celebration of Nepalese flavors, with options that cater to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. I started with the momos, which were perfectly steamed, with a soft, flavorful filling, served alongside a spicy, tangy dipping sauce. The dal bhat, a traditional Nepalese dish, was another highlight—its simplicity elevated by the rich lentil curry and perfectly cooked rice. The goat curry was tender, bursting with spices that reflected the essence of Himalayan cooking.
The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are well-balanced, avoiding overpowering spices. Their lassi, a traditional yogurt drink, was the perfect way to end the meal, offering a refreshing contrast to the bold flavors of the dishes.
What stood out most was the hospitality—the staff genuinely cared about ensuring a great experience. Spice of Nepal is more than just a meal; it’s a cultural journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore...
