These two star for the taste of the food, but i am disappointed with the customer seevice i always ordered from them online and as usual i ordered chole bathure one naan and one spring roll, but this time spring roll was missing, instead of complaining to the doordash i pdefer to call the restaurant as this is not the first time i ordered from them, the girl said we are out of it thats why we didn’t sent it, so i was like ok no problem, she said that i am making a note next time we will give you eith your order, i was like ok then i open my naan it was fully burnt. But despite all of this i was like ok no worries, then I ordered it again from them and asked my spring rolll the girl said I didn’t fine any note and didn’t help me even they said we will call you once we talk with our manager with this issue they never called me and today when i call them to asked again about the spring they didnt help me at all even the manager. Disappointed it is not about the 12$ spring rolls it is about the you loose your customer. Thanks for the yummy food though but i will never order from you guys nor I recommend anyone thanks. Visited Ambar Surrey Restaurant & Dhaba for dinner since I wanted to try out the Punjabi dhaba food after a while. The ambience of this restaurant was above my expectations. It was nice and the layout was great.

The server for our table was very pleasing and regularly checked with us if the food was good or if we needed anything.

We ordered vegetable noodles, vegetable fried rice, vegetable manchurian and vegetarian thali with an extra tandoori roti.

The vegetable noodles and rice were okay but the manchurian tasted good. However, the manchurian balls were small in size.

Since white vinegar with cut green chillies wasn’t served with the Chinese dishes, I asked for it and when it was brought, there was only vinegar without the green chillies. That was kind of a letdown.

The vegetarian thali was good. The mixed vegetables and shahi paneer were delicious. The roti was crisp and tasty too. We ordered another tandoori roti and that took longer than expected to arrive.

In the end, for desserts, we ordered kulfi faluda. The presentation wasn’t good as it didn’t look like an actual kulfi faluda. I was expecting something much better since this is something very much liked by people.

Usually restaurants are hardly rated 5 stars by reviewers because there's one thing or another that's missing. However Ambar Surrey deserves 5stars for the experience they offer. Food and authentic taste is one thing, but I haven't seen such polite service anywhere! Food was amazing. We tried Chicken Kali Mirch Tikka( flavorful and mildly spicy, rich and creamy), Achari Soya Champ ( medium spicy, felt achari, could have been less creamy) , Daal Makhni ( Thick, fresh and perfectly spiced), Malai Kofta ( Mildly spicy and mildly sweet, gourmet, thick gravy, smooth yet chunky gravy, soft koftas with good amount of dry fruits and not at all starchy. Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti and Butter naan were super fluffy, light, and tasted awesome. Planning to visit more often especially on Fridays when they have live singing by the awesome Karanveer.
