SHAWARMA DAY — Restaurant in Toronto

First time I ordered...it was on a deal...so the amount of chicken was acceptable...but still..not jumping through hoops about it. Saw the deal was up again on uber eats...so I figured...hey...why not...been a few weeks...I hadn't had any chicken...so I went for it. The deal was chicken on rice... That's it...and that's the way I wanted it....

Got the order home and it's half veggies....if I wanted a full fancy meal I would have ordered it that way. The container for the deal is a small size to boot. As I ate it..because they were closing and I wasn't going back...it was late after I finished work...I noticed that the chicken had been shredded to fluff it up... Now I wasn't happy at all Will not be returning which is a shame...because it's tasty and in my neighborhood ... given the portions the 1st time on the deal was barely sufficient...this time was the last time I'll visit ... I don't mind paying for what I order and get what I ordered at a fair margin...but this is called cheaping out...not good.

UPDATE...I was so disheartened by the experience....I've thrown the rest in the green bin...couldn't stand to look at it again...and that was my lunch for work on Sunday....

UPDATE #2 In response to the owner....you like to use trigger words and seem to be trying to play the victim... The nouns you poorly use are the same as the poor quality food you sell... Show me the example of bullying.. Please....please show me... Hater??? I hate getting ripped off... I hate your poor excuses for putting forth a sub par product... I hate the arrogance and victim mentality.... Please...rename the restaurant BULLSHIT DAY....because you don't serve...

The man overcharged me by the full price of a shawarma when I went in there to order, I didn't say anything but I noticed and felt it important to call the establishment on this publicly so that they did not do this to anyone else

I left this so that people could be mindful but I have the purchase records to prove my statement, I am not slandering and your tone is argumentative at best , my comment was truthful Ill find my records of this purchase to prove it .

The food was good but clearly the customer service speaks for itself, you were nice when I came in conversational even but I paid around 20$ for a single shawarma.

I cannot reply to your reply so I will just add to my original comment, my bank records show a purchase of 23 dollars I've added this to the review, I am an honest person and maybe this was a mistake but I did not come here to slander you but to tell the truth

This happened a while back in February so my mistake for not saying anything earlier ( I've had quite a few serious personal issues that took me away from this review something popped up on my radar today that reminded me )

Usually a good experience with quick service. But I placed an order for pick up, which was accepted, and then was left to wait for over an hour with no progress. I called the store to see if there was an issue and the person who answered was extremely rude and informed me that he was too busy and wasn’t going to make my order at all. I understand being busy (I work in restaurants myself), but if you’re too busy for take out, pause your delivery apps. Why was it accepted in the first place if it wasn’t going to be made? How long would I have been left to wait if I hadn’t called? While waiting, thinking that my order was being made, many other restaurants in the area closed and now I’m starving with no options. Extremely misleading to have accepted an order you couldn’t complete in the first place. It would have taken two seconds to cancel it if he realized it couldn’t be completed, and then I could have ordered elsewhere. Very unimpressed by the rudeness of the person on the phone. Completely unnecessary to take a tone with me for simply asking for a progress update. Very...
