It was a nice park for a walk and to see the Sakura trees. I did not go during the peak blooming time this year. The trees were much nicer near the end of April. I visited the park on Mother’s Day. Luckily I was still able to catch the last part of the Sakura before they fell to the ground. The park was really big and not too crowded. I was thankful that I don’t need to travel far to High Park to take nice photos of the Sakura trees. It was a gift to see these smaller trees. I could easily take beautiful photos of these Sakura closely.
This was the second time I came to this park to check out the Cherry Blossoms. We came during the blossom bloom this year. It was the Thursday before Mother’s Day. Stay on trails. Keep dogs on a leash. Don't disturb plants...

We've been in Canada this long and this is the first time we're seeing the Civic Centre and the Campbell Square. I guess we never bothered to check these out, only the Town Centre which is a shopping mall and the subway.
Found a few flora and fauna species...
