It's going through some renovations right now. There is construction continuing on the stairs leading up to Scarborough Town Centre, and throughout the centre field between the YMCA and condos. The rink is well taken care of. It's still nice to see free outdoor skating in the heart of Scarborough. It's unfortunate that the snack bar inside the change area doesn't open anymore, but it's understandable considering the low foot traffic. Having it open during March break would have been nice. It's an older city square, being the old city hall of Scarborough, but it's nice to see their trying to keep it functional and up to date.

We went to this outdoor skating rink for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was around 3pm on Friday. It was all empty at that time so we enjoyed the newly shaved ice. I brought our orange plastic aid but it kept falling apart. Then I found out they have the blue sturdy one on site so we borrowed and used it for a while. However that was the only one they had. The rest were all broken. Hope they will get them fixed soon. It was a good location and we enjoyed our time there.

This Scarborough Urban Square is a very conveniently located, well maintained, family-friendly facility. This outdoor space is used for many community events, concerts, exhibitions, etc. It is used as a nice skating rink in winter. Ample sitting arrangements with picnic tables and benches. Shallow pool and fountain is an attraction. It's a great escape place from bustling surrounding areas. The stage certainly needs some work to do. Otherwise, a positive vibe in Scarborough.

Nice place to skate with kids with long hours. They have the skate training devices to help young ones balance and this rink was open when some other outdoor rinks were closed due to soft ice. Has the civic center right there for bathroom use or to warm up (they possibly have a snack vending machine or counter but I didn't see it )

Went to kothu fest happened here and it was a great experience with fantastic food and vibes really had good time will be happy come back..
