This is quite possibly the worst building I have ever step foot in. I am taken aback by how absurdly awful it is. I cannot fathom the minds of the people who keep this place open. The definition of a flea market is “A market, usually held outdoors, where antiques, used household goods, and curios are sold.” Alright, now let me tell you about what I saw when I entered.. The stores are selling cheap chinese garbage at probably double the price of what they paid, there were food places with no licenses posted which makes me wonder if they even have one, there were stores selling birds which were held in cages far too small, stores selling crappy fake jewellery. I think you get the point. That is not even the worst extent of it. It genuinely felt like I walked into hell on earth. I really hope that in the near future some health inspectors go in and shut that place down. I suppose this is a flea market in the sense that you may leave with some fleas attached to you, this place is filthy.
EDIT: I am still traumatized by the memory of entering this building. As mentioned before, I truly believe this place should be shut down.
EDIT 2: Avoid this place at all costs!! I am having night terrors due to the absolute horrors of this establishment and everything inside of it. If you like getting ripped off while buying cheap plastic products, you will like this place. Otherwise, do not come here.
EDIT, response to comment: While your vendors do have licenses, that does not mean they follow them. A simple search on dinesafe provides an excellent example of the violations which happen. Furthermore, the birds which may be sold legally. Are not treated well at all. No bird should be kept in a small cage with dozens of other birds. I want to once again return to the definition of a flea market “A market, usually held outdoors, where antiques, used household goods, and curios are sold.” I do not think a single secondhand item is being sold at this so called flea market. Perhaps it was better in the 90s but today it is no cleaner than the...

Read moreMy initial visit to Dr. Flea's located at Hwy 27 & Albion was quite an experience. The flea market had a distinct nostalgic charm, evoking memories of traditional flea markets of the past. Despite the crowds, everyone maintained a respectful distance from one another. The abundance of offerings was truly captivating, ranging from a dedicated building focused solely on fresh produce to outdoor stalls showcasing vintage tools, electronics, apparel, and much more.
The interior was a treasure trove of diverse booths, encompassing everything from gaming, toys, and jewelry to a variety of food options. Our primary objective was to find love birds to purchase, and we encountered two bird-selling booths. Among them, Joe's House of Birds #1705 stood out with its extensive selection and notably reasonable prices. Ultimately, we procured a total of five birds along with two cages. The entire experience was a delightful journey, and I'm eager to revisit it...
