Gerrard Art Space is very dear to me. I have taught fiddle lesson there for many years and feel so lucky to do so. The bright and airy room with fabulous acoustics is perfect for teaching music and also performing music! My 6 piece band has played many gigs at GAS and it is one the favourite venues for us and also the audience. Not to mention every three weeks the art show on display is different so there is an ever changing array of inspiring and local art. Standing in that room, playing my violin, surrounded by amazing art, looking out the big window onto Gerrard street to see the streetcar go by or all the people bustling along, is a truly unique Toronto experience. Come to see the art, come to see the music , come to the art markets that are held there- or rent the space to do what you love.
