Finally decided to try this local spot as I live down the street. It was such an awful experience. We ordered Nacho's as an appetizer which came 30-40 mins. When we asked within that time where the nachos were our waiter told us they were just coming out. They came out with unmelted cheese, how does one mess up nachos? They quickly brought it back in the kitchen only to cover the whole thing with an absurd amount of cheese. We only could order after the nachos were delivered as we were not waited on for large gaps of time, the place was dead so not sure why this was an issue. The food came out fairly quick, but our waiter only took it down after 30 mins of waiting for the Nachos. I got a burger and fries and promptly asked the waiter for ketchup, mustard and mayo non of which were given until the waiter came back 15 min later which at that point was far more then enough waiting for us. We left and packed up the food and won't be returning again, I'm not sure what exactly goes on with the staff but it was terrible experience. If recommend going anywhere else in the area as they are least give you the bare...

Came into the city early before heading to a show at History. Walked into the Pub to a couple girls I assumed worked there and was stared at and not greeted until I said hi first. Sat down at the table and our server came to the table pretty quickly. We both ordered beers that came to us really flat, my partner ordered a burger and fries and then I ordered just some mozzarella sticks. She then came back to confirm I ordered only mozzarella stick(I assumed because it’s a appetizer and not actually a meal). Soon after she dropped off the mozzarella sticks and the waitress never came back to the table, after about 35 minutes I asked another staff member if they could check on the order of the burger and fries and the staff looked frantic. The original waitress came back and apologized and said she had thought we only ordered mozzarella sticks, even though my partner had ordered an entire meal with her before I ordered. This bar had maybe 4 other customers in there, it was not busy at all. I used the restroom before I left and it looked like it has not been cleaned in years, can’t imagine what the...

The Two-Headed Dog, was an enjoyable place to go pre concert at History. It's one of those neighborhood bars you wish you lived by. If I lived in the area I believe I would become a regular. They had a wide selection of 🍻🍺 Drafts of tap. . The bartender was very friendly and chatty. Knowledgeable about the area, so if you're a visitor in town you have no problem finding things to do and visit after talking to this bartender. I only wish I could remember her name. I sat at the bar, it was nice to talk to the other patrons there. Who we're all locals. I had a burger there and it was so good homemade NOT a frozen patty. It was served with french fries, which were crisp not over seasoned and hot. Nothing worse than when you get your meal and the French fries are lukewarm. The burger was so good and I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures LOL. It does not disappoint. But if you're in the mood for something different the menu...

A hidden gem in Little India (Coxwell and Gerrard East). I picked this restaurant based off its reviews of the food and pictures from customers. It’s a nice little pub with several TVs, a dark cozy interior with quick service. The little gem is a wonderful intimate patio in the back. Whoa! I was not expecting that. At any rate, it had Beach vibes right in Little India. The intimate patio was fun for everyone to just enjoy each other’s company with great food. We all ate burgers. Excellent! Only minus I’d give this restaurant is that pop is non-refillable drinks. As a consumer, I’ve taken it for granted that we get refills. Once that’s gone, it’s quite expensive and more so on a hot day. Something to keep in mind or perhaps something the restaurant might want to change. Hmm. As for the location, I loved the fact it is close to a grocery store (which was a handy errand to complete afterwards.)

We came to this bar/restaurant after a concert, so it was after 12am and I believe it was open until 2am. It was a sports night, so the guys at the bar were very rowdy and were yelling obscenities, but we got a spot near the window away from them and were served quickly. The server had pale pink hair and was super kind, I believe her name was Tatiana. She was very personable and sweet. We ordered our food. I got a BLT sandwich with peameal bacon and some fries. The sandwich was lackluster, but my boyfriend got an amazing spicy pasta dish that had chicken, shrimp and sausage. It was the highlight of the meal. But we also shared Thai spring rolls and they were great. I'm glad this spot was open so late. I did notice quite a bit of dust throughout the establishment, but overall, it was a good experience. We would return for the pasta alone.
