A day full of laughs, paws, and wagging tails at the dog park🐶🐾#fyp #dog #leashfree #park

Great hiking, the biggest off leash area in Toronto, you can easily lost your dog among the tries there :) There were many dogs on Monday, so I can imagine how many it is going to be on a weekend. Take water for your dog, because there is no such facility in the off leash park. There are some places to seat add relax, so you can bring anything you would like, from a book to a picnic. There was a lot of squirrels, if your dog doesn't like squirrels as mine does not, make sure to watch your dog along the way :)

I'd come here every day if I could! My pup loves the trails especially in the winter time. Owners that come here are extremely friendly and the trails are long. I tend to keep my dog leashed while walking through the dog hill because I've noticed there are some rowdy dogs here but as soon as we get to the trails he's off leash and free to roam and run. It's nice seeing him feel so free, if you live in the city or want to give your dog a chance to run freely this is the place where they can do it safely.

I've got a 7.5 month old Labradoodle. We went here once in the fall but just stayed on the main path as she was too small to go off into the little trails and paths within the park. This time we fully utilized the entire park. What a delightful day we had. We encountered quite a few friendly, playful dogs throughout the day which made my dogs day so much better. Wasn't too busy for a holiday unlike Sherwood Park (also a great place) When we found other dogs we would stop and let them play while the humans conversed all while maintaining social distancing and we would then be on our way. No water was accessible but I brought my own and treats. No public washrooms but they had portable washrooms near the restaurant....I held it lol. There is a portion of the park that has a small body of water and it's only partly fenced so be careful of this if you've got a small pup or a dog thst loves water unless you don't mind them jumping in. We were there for 3.5 hours and by the time we got to the car we were both exhausted. Definitely a bigger area compared to Sherwood Park. I highly recommend it!! Have fun & stay safe everyone from...

Finally went to this Dog Park. Over all it was nice. The trail system was a nice walk through. Was nice to met other freindly Dog owners. For me I didn't like that there wasn't a double gate to get into the fenced area. Anyone could have not closed the gate properly and have the dog's run out of the fenced area. Another thing to know is there are many way's to get in and out the fenced area. Think there were three gates in total. And you are unable to view the gates at a glance as they are out of view. We acutally bumped into a Dog owner looking for his Dog. ( hope he found him or her ) It started to make me worried as well. Last was the poor condition of the steel fence going around the property. It was in need of replacment badly. It is bent and twisted in many area's and not at the proper heigh. With sharpe pointed wires sticking out. A plastic cheap fence was used to patch an area in need of repair. Over all to me. The Fence is unsafe and in...

The overall park is great. The off leash area is good for the trails. I don't like Dog Hill though. It's the spot where people go and stand around and dogs stand around. I go to a park to actually walk. Be careful of dogs who are not well attended in the Dog Hill area. Some people ignore their dogs or have limited mobility so they can not go and get them. They want their dogs to "exercise" so they bring them there and let them loose. Of course poorly trained dogs is always a risk at any dog park, just be aware that not everyone has the physical capacity to take care of their own dog. You need to keep an eye out. I avoid that part and stick to the trails. There are parts of the park closed to off leash for lots of reasons. People just go over the fences. It causes a lot of erosion. But I find it to be a great place for me and my dog and there is enough space to walk without going outside the dog...
