Atrocious customer service. Was served by a woman named Kava at the checkout last night who made me feel like serving me was an extreme inconvenience. I have worked a number of customer service jobs and always make a point to say hello, how are you, a small gesture that always went a long way when I was on the other end. She glared at me and blatantly ignored me while ringing through my items. I had my own bags, which seems to inconvenience her greatly. I had pulled my bags out of the cart and when I turned around the cart was gone (which isnât the issue) so it made bagging my groceries a bit more difficult, as there is nowhere to set the items. She was hastily shoving every item to me and was audibly huffing and rolling her eyes at me as I tried to pack things up as quickly as possible. There wasnât a single person in line behind me, so I really donât understand what warranted this kind of treatment. I have never had service so poor in Roncy, where folks are typically warm and kind. By the time I got home shortly after my throat was itching and a migraine was kicking in. THEN I opened the paper bag to put my groceries away and the smell that was on her was INSIDE the bag and on my food. I had to repackage my vegetables and immediately throw the bag/ packaging away. You know how much perfume a person has to be covered in for the paper bag at their station to absorb the smell and follow me home to torment me? Youâre at work. No one wants to smell you. Take a break from being the main character...

I was so impressed with the aesthetic layout of this establishment that I was excitedly compelled to slowly browse this entire wonderful store :)
The staff were gracefully helpful and eager to assist in my shopping experience; speaking specifically to my situation whereby the cashier physically took the time and effort to point out additional supplies of âchewing gum productsâ besides the ones stocked on the shelf next to the cashier exit :)
I was so overwhelmed with my shopping experience that I purchased a Sobeys bag just to have a selfie taken outside of this amazing store ! HA HA HA đ
THANK YOU SOBEYS for making...
