Marie Curtis Park and Beach is a fantastic spot for a relaxing and family-friendly day out. The beach, while not very large, offers peaceful lake views and tends to be quieter on weekdays—perfect for a calm escape. On sunny weekends, it can get a bit crowded, but there’s still plenty of space to enjoy. The beach is clean, with public washrooms and stone benches where families can sit and enjoy their packed meals. A major highlight is the attached park with splash pads and playgrounds, ideal for toddlers and children to run around and play safely. It’s also a great place to walk your dog or have a picnic under the shade of the trees. There’s even a chance of spotting trout in the nearby river. With BBQ areas, a waterfront trail for jogging, and a water park for kids, it truly caters to all age groups. Just a small heads-up: the water can be rocky and has some algae in certain areas, so take care when stepping in. Overall, it's a beautiful and convenient destination worth visiting. ‼️Just be aware:
Lots of rocks and algae under the water. So be careful when...

Read moreA quiet beach away from the hustle and bustle of the marina. It is a very nice location with a decent beach area and a lot of picnic space nearby.

Not sure what can be done in these situations, but you got to really fight your internal samaritan to ignore such folks and take...
