I’ve been a loyal customer of Burrito Boyz South Etobicoke for over 15 years, but after tonight’s disaster of an order, I’m officially done — forever. I ordered the chicken nachos for my daughter and me, excited for what used to be a generous, delicious meal. What we got was pathetic. For $27, we received a pile of stale chips barely sprinkled with scraps of toppings. I had selected only FIVE toppings, yet somehow the rice, tomatoes, and TWO types of beans were nearly invisible. The so-called “protein” (chicken) was practically non-existent — an embarrassment for a restaurant supposedly specializing in Mexican plates. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We were furious opening this sad excuse for a meal. I immediately called — surprise! No working number. No customer service. No accountability. I reported it to Uber Eats and escalated it into a formal complaint because this level of disrespect to loyal customers is unacceptable. This decline isn’t new — a few weeks ago, I tried giving them another chance with a burrito order. Same story: cheap, lazy portions, food prepared by staff who clearly have no idea how proper Mexican food is supposed to look or taste. I had hoped maybe the new management was still getting its footing, but tonight confirmed it: this location has gone completely downhill. This place is done! Ever since new (cheap) management took over, Burrito Boyz South Etobicoke has become a hollow shell of what it used to be. It’s clear they’re cutting corners everywhere — quality, service, and even basic restaurant operations. Cheap new owners, trash food and zero accountability! Want real Burrito Boyz? Go to the Queensway location. Skip this disaster. I wouldn’t waste another dollar here if you paid me. Save your money and never order from this Burrito Boyz again. First Calabrese Pizza sold out to Mr. Singh’s vegan nightmare, now this? South Etobicoke deserves better.

Tonight I had the worst Quesadilla I’ve ever had from any Burrito Boyz location. For context, this was supposed to be a steak and shrimp mix, and not only does it barely have any beef on it, the quesadilla had ZERO pieces of shrimp. The whole quesadilla lacked cheese and what cheese was on it was barely melted. In fact, the quesadilla was completely raw, the vegetables were ice cold - it’s clear that the tortilla was quickly toasted on a griddle that is too hot and by the time the outside browned, the inside was still cold and cheese hardly melted. Further to this, the tortilla itself was essentially raw, because the quesadilla wasn’t on the griddle for long enough to toast it, just to brown the outside. To top it all off, I’m trying to eat it and the whole thing just fell apart into a pile because the cheese never melted throughout. I could go on…. Instead I will never return to this location.

I don’t usually write reviews for any establishment BUT this experience is so bad. We’ve been ordering shrimp quesadillas from this branch since we live nearby. The worst takeaway by far! The “pretending” quesadilla was cold, ingredients were falling apart, don’t know where the cheese went, that’s why they gave those sporks coz you’re going to pick up each ingredients to eat it, as far as I remember our order are shrimp quesadillas and not veggie salads. What happened to this branch? Is it under new management? Where are the former crews that made those delish food? Today’s crew are looking like new hires. What happened to the training? Where’s the quality control? I can go on & on but in the end just want to say “WILL NEVER GET ANYTHING FROM HERE AGAIN!”

I have been coming to this particular location for many years. Generally the place is ok, but recently the prices have gone up and I expect proper service. Looks like they don't train their employees properly, because one girl puts enough ingridients the other one puts way less. Also some of the girls don't pay proper attention to the list of the ingridients and quite a few times they would miss one of the ingridients. There is no point placing an order over the phone because almost every time I have to tell one girl or the other to add a little bit more of one or the other ingridient. Some girls use a scoop others use their hands to get the ingridients out of the containers. I don't care how they do it, but I do care about the amount. Because it varies from one girl to another. So with one girl I get nice and big burrito, but wirh the other I get like 30% less. But I pay the same price every time. And I expect approximately the same amount of ingridients also every time. I noticed that it is like that, especially with nee girls. So clearly they don't train their...

In past we have always been able to call in our order so it could begin getting processed by the time we arrived at the store to pick it up. We would provide our phone number and our last order could be called up. The female staff helping us this particular night made no effort to do this. She stated our number was not in the system, so we could not pre order. When we arrived at the location I placed our order and we asked her to save it in the system. She said she saved it however we never provided her any information for her to do so. She had no interest in helping us. We also noticed the location had a kiosk installed so you could place your own order in store, pay and just wait for the food to be made. We decided to input our phone number to see if our old order was in the system....it was. Very disappointed in this location. If this is new ownership, you need to do better. Not sure I will visit this...
