I called and ordered one bunch of greenery in February 2019 for same day pick up. The young lady at the store was very friendly, handed me the large bunch of approximately 40 stems of long greenery which was wrapped nicely, and charged me $20 plus tax. The greenery was very green and fragrant, it lasted about one week. I was so happy with it! Then I called again in May 2019 to order the same greenery for next day pick up. An older lady brought out a shabby bunch that was not nicely wrapped, there were maybe 25 stems, most of them were short stems, and charged me $30 plus tax. I was appalled, but also desperate for these greens, so I paid and left. The greenery was starting to brown and did not smell fresh. I cut off the stems and placed them in water, and hoped that they would stay alive for another day, when I will be using them in an arrangement. When I used them for my arrangement, the leaves were brittle and some broke off. Most of the stems were no longer green, and most of the leaves were turning yellow and brown. The store owner was kind enough to call and explain that these greens are not in season, also she said her products vary in pricing depending on the season. If I had known that the greens would not be fresh and green and cost more than the initial price, then I wouldn't have driven out 40 minutes to get them. To be fair, I did see the product before paying, "nobody forced me" like the owner said, so in the end I guess I can only blame myself. The owner offered a store credit, which I will not be using, as her explanation of the situation seemed adequate. As a consumer, I never thought we would need to know the seasons for each flower or greenery. Going forward, I will buy whatever is IN season to avoid such...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER THEY WOULD RUIN YOUR SPECIAL DAY!! My boyfriend, living in a different country tried to do something nice and send me flowers for my birthday ( don't worry he had a local helper). Delivery instructions clearly said DELIVER AFTER 3, and another email was send the morning of to confirm delivery after 3 as i was busy until 2. She calls me at 1:58 twice, called her back 3 minutes after, she started yelling at me that we don't have apartment number on the order and said to come pick it up myself. i didn't know what it was about even so i went but of course talked to my friend before who showed me the conversations with the store. needless to say i was very upset. when i got to the store and tried to talk to the owner the lady there was SO RUDE! you cannot say anything to her! First the order looks nothing like what we ordered! so she tried to say no i put extra flower, WHAT DO I CARE? you offer something so that is what you should deliver! plus, i clearly saw on her order that its written down in pen to be delivered after 3 and she blank LIED to my face! i mean you made a mistake ok, but take responsibility as the business owner! apologize! offer something to peach the customer.
Her business is to deliver flowers to make people happy on their special day. me coming there to pick t up defats the purpose of it! A nice gesture became ugly because of her business! Needless to say i would never take my business there again and i highly recommend you not too either if you want your happy day...
Read moreI’ve rarely left Google reviews, and I’ve certainly never left a negative one—this is my first time. There was an older lady and her friend at the shop. She told me that a single rose costs $6 and a larger one is $8. When I said I’d like to buy four, she questioned why I was buying so few. When I said it was a gift for my wife, she responded, “What kind of love do you have?” I tried to laugh it off as a joke.
I then asked how much it would be for six roses, and she said $55. I figured maybe it was because she added baby’s breath, although I wasn’t sure—do baby’s breath cost $15? Or was it wrapping and everything else included? After she finished wrapping, I asked again how the total came out to that amount, and suddenly the small roses had become $7 each. It felt less like an exact calculation and more like she just called out a price—and when I hesitated, she said it would be $50 if I paid in cash.
Maybe if you buy a large bouquet, their attitude and service might be different, but based on other reviews and my experience, it feels like they’re doing you a favour by selling to you. It’s as if they’ve forgotten who the...
