The disgusting work and unprofessionalism of the bank employees! We recorded 5 times on an individual reception for various employees of the bank to open and activate the account for the RESP for the student’s son! 5 times we provided the entire package of documents necessary for opening and activating the term of the individual, but not one of the employees did his job !!! What are these employees in the bank if they are incompetent in such simple issues ????? How can such unprofessional employees work in a bank ??? 6 months have passed since our first appeal to the bank regarding the opening and activation of the account !!!! This is nonsense !!!! Within 6 months, not a single bank employee was able to activate the account !!!! Each time, employees tell us: everything is ready, and wait for information from e -mail. But the account is still not activated !!!!! Maybe the TD bank should start checking the professional suitability of its employees! In the near future, we register for the sixth time to solve our issue, it is even very interesting what more loafers from TD Bank will tell us! Read moreBy far the worst experience with one of the advisors. I came to open a business account. The advisor by name Nitin was so unwelcoming it was really uncomfortable. He acted like he just wanted to get me out of the door. Mentioned several times that someone else was supposed to be doing this. Barely answered any of my questions. Always referred me to "read everything" instead of giving me a proper consultation. At the end I asked about the checks, he said "You said you do not need them" Nope. I never said it. He started to argue with me saying "I Asked you and you said you do not need them." He never asked. He barely spoke to me. He could not explain me the process of opening the account. I left with wrinkled enelope, that was re-used on me and stack of papers. Without access to my new checking account. Just now opened the envelope there is a sticky note with some numbers and letters. Provided license & health card and it was not sufficient in order to pickup the credit card. I showed them the text from TD Bank stating 2 pieces of IDs with pictures; however, the new information is that the health card is not an approved ID. The employees were not friendly and customer service focused. Will try again...
Hello Melissa, thanks for your prompt response. I have already received and being educated on TD's policy by the three employees from the branch. It is my understanding that there is absolutely no flexiability on the policy regardless of who created the problem. I tried to explain the issue at-hand and that the problem was created by TD Corporate with no avail.
