I’ve given this place a 2 star because the manager is very welcoming and friendly. But the lady cashier on the other hand is a different story. I am a cashier myself and I have NEVER ever received this kind of treatment from pizza pizza before. So, basically this is what happened. Me and my friends went there late at night not very sure what time it was but I’m guessing it was around 1am… we went there and while we’re ordering our food this lady cashier have this look on her face like she was annoyed that we were ordering at that time. She never greeted us and just straight up asked what our order was. I’m guessing she had a long day but be professional since everyone’s going through it as well. Anyhow, my friends just finished ordering and it was my turn, I ordered 40 pieces chicken wings and when I was about to pay I saw my total to be around $50. Nothing unusual there right? Well no, the cashier that took my friend’s order was also the one who took my order and when I was about to pay she proceeded to add the tip herself It was so fast that I didn’t caught the percentage she pressed on. I mean come on if your service to us was done in a very professional way I would’ve given you a tip subconsciously BUT you were rude the whole time thinking like you own the place. Honestly this is very unacceptable and I was even considering rating this place a 1 star but props to the manager for have a small talk with us. That cashier needs some warning or better yet discipline her from her actions. Im still...
Read moreI’d like to share an experience I had today at this Pizza Pizza location and ask readers to evaluate the store owner’s attitude and customer service:
Last night at the Raptors game, my son and I received a coupon for a free slice of pizza. My son was thrilled and couldn’t wait to redeem it. Since we regularly visit this location, I took him there to use the coupon. Although the app clearly stated the coupon could be redeemed in-store, the owner insisted we call Pizza Pizza customer service and said it wasn’t redeemable at the store. Interestingly, another customer who was also trying to redeem their coupon received the same response.
I called customer service three times, and each time they confirmed the coupon must be redeemed at the store.
To avoid further disappointment, I decided to take my son to Pizza Nova instead, where we bought him a slice. Later, I tested the coupon at another Pizza Pizza location (Keele and Sheppard), and it was redeemed without any issue at all.
This experience raises serious concerns about the professionalism and customer service at this location. I invite readers to assess not only the store but specifically the behavior of its owner.
In the end, the cost of a simple free pizza slice has lost this store a loyal customer. I’ll be sure to share this story within the community. Shame on the store and its owner for failing to honor a straightforward promotion and for...
Read moreI've never been a huge fan of Pizza Pizza, always found their brand a little too commercial. Most orders tend to be dry from what I remember and lacking in flavour but I do need to credit this location for having very fresh, flavourful pizza and great management.
I'd like to shine the spotlight on their Keto Pizza specifically: As a temporary dieter I wanted to get my fix, read some reviews about how the pizza tasted like 'sawdust' and flavourless, didn't care though, wanted to hit that craving so I ordered it and I actually think their Keto pizza is on par with their normal crust pizza (in my opinion) so kudos there.
I really appreciated it, was nice, fresh and delicious and the crust tasted glutinous enough for me to not even notice the difference, comes as a thin-crust pizza in one size and my only complaint is that the pizza was kind of crushed into the packaging so all the toppings got smushed into the box.
On Keto there's really no perfect substitute for white crust or bread, so any non-dieter would probably not appreciate this as much as someone who has been on the diet for an extended period of time and wants to indulge...
