I recently visited TD Bank for an appointment regarding a pre-approved line of credit, having completed the initial application process online. Despite arriving five minutes early, I was left to wait for over 22 minutes before any staff member acknowledged me. When they did, I was informed that the representative I was scheduled to meet would be leaving in five minutes and would not be able to assist me.
Another employee attempted to help, but they were unable to access my account details, which were part of my online application. This disconnect between the online and in-branch services not only resulted in a complete waste of time but also demonstrated a lack of coordination within the bank’s customer service processes.
Following this in-branch experience, I called the customer service hotline only to encounter high interest rates and advisors who were unable to satisfactorily explain how the interest was compounded. The lack of clear information and assistance has led me to cancel my application.
As a result of these experiences, I have decided to move my account elsewhere. It’s unfortunate, as one would expect seamless service and better integration between online and physical banking services from a reputable financial institution...

I booked an appointment with a financial advisor using the best available option on my app. When I reached at the branch I was informed that the person Yash was not a licensed advisor and can't assist and was asked to reschedule as I need to set up the repayments gor my RSP that i withdrew from two years ago.I asked him to guide me how to select the right option, he was unable to guide me. He booked the appointment with an advisor. I reached at the bank on time again and I was told that one very rude financial advisor Gaurav that he won't set it up for me actually it would be my tax guy. WTH.... am I an idle soul free to waste my time. I don't know who will do this for me. All I need as a customer is the correct information so that I can save my time and energy both.
Please fire these untrained, unprofessional idiots who are only there to waste...

We called the inquiry line immediately only to file a dispute over money I had in my hands 30 seconds earlier!! I also went in to speak to the bank manager whose name begins with N and he assured me that 'they will put the money back'. My son and I called twice, escalated the dispute, and waited. It's been over two weeks and nothing. They've kept the $200, saying it wasn't found.
