PAPARIKOO Mediterranean Cuisine — Restaurant in Toronto

I was passing by this place when they were almost finished opening and wanted to give them a try when they finally opened their doors....and boy am I glad I did. Some Shawarma places are hit or miss in the GTA on their first impressions, and this place really hit it out of the park for me. There wasn't one thing I had that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I had the falafel, chicken shawarma and the lentil soup (two of which I ate before taking pictures). The falafel was crispy and not dry (which many places miss the mark on). The chicken shawarma portion was generous not to mention flavourful, and all the sides were good as well along with the sauces (the garlic sauce was on point). The lentil soup was also flavourful which isn't an easy task; it had the right amount of spices, warmth and different combinations of tastes which was perfect for that cold night. The place was very clean and the owner was also refreshingly nice and funny. If it's not obvious in my review already, I had a great experience here and enjoyed the food a lot. I look forward to trying the other stuff on the menu. Not many places have gotten me this excited in a while to post a long review, so I definitely will be visiting again and recommend giving this...

BEST SHAWARMA EVER!! I was in the area and found this gem via google reviews. I am so happy I gave this spot a try. The owner was the sweetest and friendliest man. We had great conversation while he made my beef shawarma. He gave me some homemade lentil soup to try and it was an absolute delight. My shawarma was filled with so much tender and flavorful beef, the coleslaw was so good, the hummus and garlic sauce were the perfect addition and the veggies were so fresh. I paid approximately $10 for my meal and it was so plentiful, I couldn't even finish this. Great value for what you pay, but what really stood out was the impeccable service and I would definately go out of my way to come back here again. Ordered mixed grill, falafel and few dips (hummus, baba ghanoush) to cater 8 ppl for tonight’s dinner. We have tried their shawarma in the past and were pleased with the food.

I was nervous placing a big order today but the owner Hisam made sure that I will not be disappointed and went above & beyond to provide a fantastic service. Few add-one mushrooms, extra dips & pita bread, pickles were a nice gesture.

Falafel got missed when picking up the order. Gave them a ring and It was delivered at our home with no ifs or buts says how much they care about the customer. What a pleasant experience, our guests were very content and the grill was done to perfection.
