Royal Meats BarBeque — Restaurant in Toronto

Royal Meats BBQ is simply FANTASTIC! Service, ambience and FOOD are all on point. We stopped in after the Heritage Classic Game and were instantly WOWed by the very COOL patio in the front. It was like a tropical paradise. I am definitely visiting in the Summer time. The Food was simply incredible. I had the Truffle Burger and my buddy had the Chevaps and we shared the Grilled Calamari too. We had Fried Cheese as an app and that was soooo tasty too! I had a white Sangria and it was delish. My buddy had a couple of Stiegl beers. The Big screen TVs were a welcome sight and I'm already pre planning our Grey Cup party here in November lol

The Service by Katarina S was simply exceptional as well. She was professional, informative, attentive and always smiling. She was very genuine in her interaction with us. Sincere. We were never left wanting for drinks or even refilling our water glasses. Maja was also amazing as she stopped by sporadically to check on us and make certain everything was going well and we were enjoying our evening.

We had the chocolate Cake for dessert (Katarina's suggestion) with a latte/espresso and it was the perfect way to end our great meal/night. It was a sweet delight! I ordered 2 Sambuca shots to toast my dear Mother (they were her favourite shot) as it was her Birthday. She passed away one year ago from Cancer. Katarina was so comforting and empathetic. It was just so touching. & they even comped the shots in remembrance of my dear Mother which they did not have to do.

Royal Meats BBQ is a hidden gem in Etobicoke! I highly recommend you visit if you are in the neighbourhood. It will be well worth your time and money. You will leave feeling content and very FULL. Great job RMBB. Thank you for a most wonderful evening of dining! I'll definitely be back soon! 💯

Returned to RMB with my lovely wife & everything was outstanding yet again! The food, service & mojitos were all amazing! KatarinaBz & Melicia were so attentive & friendly with their service. They checked on us throughout the evening & made sure we were pleased & satisfied-which we definitely were! The service is always on point & one of the reasons I’ll be back again soon. Thank you again ladies! Great job 💯💯

probably one of the craziest experiences I’ve ever had in the wild was at this restaurant yesterday. I had gone for an early dinner with three of my girlfriends only to be harassed by two drunk men at a different table. They randomly interrupted our dinner and one of them proceeded to call my friend a racial slur. The waitress told us they had been trying to kick them out for an hour. After kicking the guy away from our table 3 times he just kept coming back. The waitstaff assured us that the owner was on the way but he never showed up to deal with the situation or even to apologize to us. the men working at the establishment were being very polite and friendly to this drunk guy even though he was bothering a bunch of different tables. it was wild to see them leading him to the patio outside by the waist as if he was a baby. they were coddling an over 60-year-old man who was harassing multiple of their customers, refused to kick him out of the restaurant, and to add insult to injury, they couldn’t even knock our drinks or dessert off our bill or even just comp my friend who had a racial slur made to her in the establishment. that man came over to our table and kept harassing us without any of the staff intervening to kick him away. I had to physically get up, for context I’m probably 40 years younger than this guy and yell in his face for him to finally get out of my table. why the hell am I paying to sit at a restaurant to be harassed by a random stranger to the point where I have to physically get up and put myself in a situation where I could get into an altercation with this man for him to leave us alone? do not come to this restaurant the food is whatever, not worth it for the experience. The waitresses are nice enough, but they’re young girls and they’re not gonna put themselves in a situation that could potentially be unsafe with the belligerent, drunk old men. I still can’t believe the owner didn’t show his face and handle the situation. This was going on for over two hours. Save your money and go...

Intro Scene You know a place is part of your routine when the staff recognize your order before you speak. That’s me at Royal Meats. I’ve been coming here since flip phones were normal. But today the Negroni hit different. Twenty-five bucks before tip for a drink that didn’t even flirt with me. At least the chevaps still taste like redemption.

What Was Ordered

Chevaps. Juicy, charred, smoky. The real reason this place exists.

Mozzarella sticks. Stretchy. Molten. Dramatic.

Pilsners. Tall, crisp, fairly priced.

Dessert menu staredown. We didn’t fold.

Service Commentary Slight wait to be seated, but they keep it moving. Staff are quiet professionals. Not cold, just efficient. Host stand is brisk. Once you’re at the table, things go smooth.

Vibe Check Busy but chill. A mix of Balkan families, quiet couples, beer bros, and Instagram amateurs. You could walk in wearing a hoodie or heels and nobody would blink. Energy is high, but never obnoxious.

The Space Itself Fake cherry blossom tree. Velvet chairs. Hanging bulbs. Concrete floors. Wood tables. It sounds ridiculous, but it looks good. Feels like a steakhouse tried to dress up for a first date.

About the Neighborhood Etobicoke. Not cute, but it works. Close to Sherway. Parking is easy. Walkability is zero. You come here on purpose.

Hits and Misses

Chevaps. Still unbeatable.

Beer. Affordable and satisfying.

Design. Wild but it lands.

Negroni. Twenty-five dollars and no emotional support included.

Volume. You will repeat yourself at least once.

Dessert. Skippable. Or maybe we were just too full of meat.

Final Verdict Royal Meats still delivers. The room is stylish. The food is loud. The drinks are overpriced. You’re here for the meat and the meat does not disappoint. Bring friends. Skip the fancy stuff.
