A Hidden Gem About to Take Off!!!!! I stumbled upon Viva Sub during their soft launch, and let me just say…this place is about to blow up. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and full of passion. You can tell they care deeply about what they’re doing. The food? Incredible. The subs are packed with flavor, the ingredients are fresh, and every bite feels like it’s made with heart. Whether you're going for a classic or trying one of their creative twists, there’s real personality in their menu—and it works. Service was friendly and fast, even during the early rush of their soft opening. The team is clearly hustling hard, and you can feel that this is more than just a sandwich (and more) shop—it’s a place built on love for good food and community. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out now before the lines start forming. Viva Sub is a future local favorite in the making. So glad I found it early!

I was passing through the area and spotted a new restaurant in town. We were greeted by Shakila at the counter who was extremely welcoming and answered all my questions. While waiting for the food I got to meet the owner and chef Hassan who was friendly as well. My boyfriend got the Philly steak sandwich ($11.99) and I got the fried chicken tender platter ($16.99). Everything was made fresh to order and plated so beautifully. The chicken was juicy and not dry which can happen with white meat but not here. The Philly sandwich was well seasoned and the bun was super fresh. Overall we would definitely come back here and I’d recommend everyone check it out.

Our second visit this time with the kids. We were blown away by the freshness of the food and the care with which it was prepared. The portions were huge as well. Chicken tenders were made with freshly battered and fried chicken breast. The fajita bowl was made with chicken and veggies not using any oil! Finally the mango shake was made with fresh whole mangoes. This is the quality of food we would give to our children! We and our kids loved the food and will make Viva Sub a regular stop.

I never write reviews, but Viva Sub genuinely left me no choice. This little spot may be new, but it already feels like it’s been part of the community forever. From the second you walk in, there’s a warm energy think cozy, colourful, and casual, but with the kind of pride in quality you’d expect from a much more established place.

Let’s talk food: absolutely next level. The bread? Freshly baked by their OWNNN local baker, soft inside with that perfect crunch outside. The subs are stacked—not just with ingredients, but with flavor. I had the Viva Classic, and every bite was layered, balanced, and honestly addictive. You can tell they actually care about what goes into their food none of that soggy chain-sub feel.

And don’t sleep on the sauces. Whatever they’re doing back there is magic. Spicy, creamy, sweet—it’s like every sub comes with its own signature vibeeee

Service was personal and sweet. You’re not just a customer here you’re treated like someone they’re excited to feed. Like FAMILY. The staff took time to explain the menu, recommend favorites, and genuinely asked how we liked everything, the owner even hand fed the customer infront of me to make sure he liked the type of fried chicken he was ordering, absolutely so wholesome.

Final verdict? Viva Sub is going to blow up once word gets out. It’s fresh, friendly, affordable, and absolutely delicious. I’m already planning my next visit and I just finished my food....

I’ve had Viva Sub a few times, it’s great. I’ve met the owner several times and he comes across as a genuinely kind and hardworking person who’s doing his best to bring something fresh and exciting to the neighborhood. To those leaving harsh 1-star reviews (Stuart, Klohe, Gunars) over the business choosing to celebrate their grand opening on Labor Day—a national holiday, no less—it’s disappointing to see people so quick to criticize a local entrepreneur who’s taking a risk to contribute something positive to the community. Small businesses already face enormous challenges, and instead of offering support or constructive feedback, some are choosing to tear them down for reasons that seem petty at best. Let’s not discourage local effort with unnecessary negativity. Every neighborhood benefits from passionate people willing to invest in it—let’s give them a...
