I was very disappointed with Go Banana's to be honest. I'm a nanny and I decided to take the kids to play at Go Banana's. My first thoughts walking into the facility was how insecure the facility was. Receptions doesn't have a way to make sure the kids are leaving with the right parents or guardian. Me along with other parents were talking and thought how careless this was. Reception can get very busy making it easy for kids to leave without their parent or guardian. I appreciate the gates being locked at all times but the security for the kids needs extreme improvement. The kids had fun running around and were happy the entire time which is what I wanted. The last comment I have to make is the cleanliness of the facility was disgusting to say the least. Moldy food on the floor right where I was sitting. I could not get over the dust in this place. I completely understand that the entire play center can't be cleaned everyday but it looked like it had never been cleaned because dirt and huge pieces of dust were falling off the play structure while kids were running around. We take the kids here for them to have fun and they have a blast but with my first impressions being horrible security and disgusting cleanliness I will not be bringing kids back to as I have been to a better, more and safe play...
Read moreWent because the site said there was a toddler play area. The toddler area was a small slide and spinny cylinders. Only spent 45 minutes there and bubs got bored. There was nothing else for a 1 year old to do. I can definitely see my kiddo enjoying the place a lot more once they're older, but for now, it wasn't really a place for us. Was definitely hoping for more with the "toddler play area". Regardless, my toddler still had a decent amount of fun with the slide.
Update: My now 2 year old absolutely loves this place and asks to go every day. Because it only costs us $5 to enter, I don't mind spending another $10-$20 to play arcade games. It's still cheaper than going to Chuck-E-Cheese or Oh My Land. Plus, we always get to bring a toy home from the tickets we win! I only gave it 4 stars because still, the toddler area is severely lacking and I've seen way better. Also, perhaps the arcade machines work a bit too well. My kid doesn't even want to play in the jungle gym, only wants to play games. The lady that works the front desk is...
Read moreI have been going here for 3 years since I moved to the Langley area, I have been to a LOT of play places in my time. This is the favourite for me. Why I like it: VALUE; it's affordable, it's clean, the staff is amazing, it is nice an open, lots of seating options where I have a good view of the kids. Why the kids like it: Lots of room to roam, ball room, trampoline, great prizes with the games! So much love seems to be put into the prizes like they care that it really is the highlight of the day for a lot of the kids. Good variety and they don't skimp on the tickets. I would even rather pay admission to go here just to do the game zone than other free admission options where I have to spend $5-10 in tokens just to win enough tickets for my son to leave with a tootsie roll.
Great place for private birthday parties. Have had them host 2 so far and I am sure more to come over the years. Thank...
