Came in on a Saturday at 12 noon with reservation and was seated after 10 minutes. There were 7 of us. The hostess was nice and accommodating. Upon seated, the waitress was attentive and nice. However, they made a mistake on one of the drink. My friend ordered Ceasar, and what was served was the Lycee drink (which what one of my friend ordered). We politely told the server the the drink was wrong, she was polite and said she will call our waitress. Our waitress came in and told us that we ordered the lychee, she was a little assertive. We told her that no, she ordered the Ceasar. She then said sorry and replaced our drink.. this is not a problem, but everyone makes mistakes. What is the problem is my order and it ruined our experience. I ordered the forager chicken. The first bite of just the chicken alone was good, the waitress actually told us how was the first bite, and I said it's good. However, as I started eating the asparagus and the mushroom gravy, I felt instant saltiness that I can no longer eat my food. The asparagus was over season and the mushroom gravy was really salty. I am actually a person who likes seasoning and salty food, but the forager chicken was so salty that I cannot eat it. I called the waitress and told her it was too salty. She asked me if I wanted it replaced, I said yes. After taking my plate, she came back and told me that the chef actually tasted the gravy and it was not salty. She said it might be the chicken when they seasoned it so she requested them not to put any salt. I said no, the actual gravy was salty and the asparagus. She then said ohhh that's weird, I actually asked how was your first few bites and you said it was okay. While she was not rude when she said this, 6 of my friends looked at each other. I politely told her that I am not a normal person to complain but it was just too salty and can no longer eat it. I tried eating it but I just can't. I actually finished one glass of water as it was too salty. She said oh okay I'll tell the chef and she left. After 20 minutes, and my friends finished their food already, she came back to our table and told us that my she checked with the kitchen and they cannot give her ETA as the chicken was thick, however it's coming. I said yeah that's fine but looking at my friends, they are already done eating. She joked and said to 7 of us "no one is allowed to get dessert until your food comes". At this time, we just smiled politely but was already disappointed. After 10 minutes, my food came. This time it was still a little salty, but tolerable. I did not say anything anymore and rushed eating my food since all my friends are done with theirs.
This experience left a.bad taste in our mouth. My friends and I were planning to eat dessert but we decided to leave because of the experience. Being introvert, it takes a lot for me to say something. However, the saltiness was way too much. Being confronted too why I did not complain on the first few bites made me very uncomfortable. FYI, when I informed the waitress about the problem, I only had few bites of food. Because of this, we will...
Read moreI tried the newly opened restaurant with high expectations tonight, but I was very disappointed. When we arrived at the lobby on the first floor, there were almost no customers. There were two staff members present, but neither of them approached us to ask if we needed a table. We stood there for about five minutes without anyone paying attention to us. With no other option, we had to walk upstairs on our own.
When we arrived upstairs, there weren’t many customers either. However, we were told that there were no available tables because they didn’t have enough staff to serve us.
However, we mentioned that we were okay with sitting at the bar. They responded by saying we could go ahead and seat ourselves at the bar.
We ordered a medium-rare steak and an Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl.
However, after cutting into the steak twice, I felt it was closer to being rare rather than medium-rare. I politely asked the server if they could cook the steak just a little bit more.she then offered to bring us a completely new steak. I told her that wasn’t necessary and that they could simply cook this only a little bit more. However, after they took it back and cooked it returned closer to a medium doneness (about 85% cooked).
I looked at the steak, which was burnt on the outside, and felt utterly speechless. The server then told me, "I think it was fine when it first came out."
The Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl had rice that was completely inedible, as it seemed to be taken straight from the fridge, cold and stale. It was a disappointing experience.
We tried to eat, but the food was simply inedible. We decide not eating just pay and leave, I still wanted to provide feedback to the manager. However, the manager’s response left me speechless. She kept saying, "OK, OK, I understand."
The manager offered to waive the meal cost.
I still insisted on paying the bill, as my main intention was not to avoid paying, but to express my dissatisfaction with the entire experience. Despite the offer from the manager to waive the payment, I felt it was important to acknowledge that the service and food were completely unworthy of the cost. It was...

I recently dined at your establishment, eager to explore themuch-talked-about offerings. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had anticipated.
Upon arrival, we were met with a less-than-ideal situation. The table and chairs were noticeably dirty, which immediately set a negative tone. Given the current economic climate, where dining out is becoming more of a luxury, a clean and welcoming environment is the least one should expect.
We opted to sit at the bar while waiting for our table. The drinks, priced at $13 each, were enjoyable and well-prepared. However, our experience at the bar left much to be desired. The bartender quickly wiped down the bar top, but the seats were neglected, leaving us to deal with wet surfaces using napkins. The bar wasn’t busy, so there was ample time to ensure a proper cleaning.
Our appetizer, calamari, was a disappointment. The dish contained only seven pieces of squid, with the rest of the plate dominated by peppers. For a dish that should showcase the main ingredient, this was a letdown.
The Eggs Benedict, which we ordered with double bacon, was another disappointment. The portion size was surprisingly small, to the point where I felt compelled to share mine with my husband. As someone who understands food well, I was expecting a more satisfying portion, especially given the price point.
I genuinely dislike being the first to write a negative review, but I believe feedback is crucial, especially in today’s dining environment. With the cost of living on the rise and more people choosing to stay home, dining out should feel like a worthwhile experience. Unfortunately, the cleanliness, portion sizes, and overall experience at your establishment fell short of expectations.
I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve and deliver the quality experience that...
