[Update from 2 stars to 0 (if I could) ] Correction, It was my mistake and made an appointment on the wrong date. I was later informed after I received a call to confirm my appointment tomorrow. I quickly told them I already came in and have completed my service. But also, I went in saying I have an appointment and no one wanted to check and I was just shoved into a chair like another number to them. I appreciate them taking me in even though they were busy, but it would have been nice to clarify.
I am now receiving text messages from Hilary, the Manager, about my review. Please read below what she wrote:
Dear Hannah. This is Hilary -manager of Beddazze nail salon The first thing I want to say sorry about the happened today with you But I think you got the mistake with your appointment today with us that why we can’t serve you on time And then the other I want to discuss with you about deluxe pedicure you wanna get.Sorry we don’t even know you wanna get deluxe pedicure that why we just got normal shellac pedicure for you and we just charge you only for normal pedicure $52 (even we have 10 %off ) for promotion .We just charge only 50 dollar for shellac pedicure(even the other nail salon they charge $55-57 for that).Evenly regular pedicure with us we always offer 10 minutes massage for client (way longer than the other nail salon you use to go for sure )
If you wanna ask deluxe pedicure,pl let us know first and we always charge $10 more for that

I don't believe I left any comments about the pricing, it's fine. I replied to her explaining it has nothing to do with the price nor the appointment. It was strictly on my customer service experience. I also went on to tell her it's unprofessional for her to be texting me back and forth arguing the "meaning" of my review.
She's telling me how my gift certificate has expired, but the gift certificate I received have no expiration date. So they will have to take it.
I don't know why it has to take me multiple tries to tell her it's from my experience that I felt the whole service was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The pedicure was painful, and they never asked if I was ok.
I really was going to leave this place as a 2 star because to me, it's really just super average place for me. I've been to other and better salons in the city. But I will need to rate this place 2 stars because of my interaction with Hilary and how completely inappropriate it was because of a review... which she clearly didn't read properly...
[ORIGINAL REVIEW]
I made an appointment online but I don’t think they honour it or even get the notification for it.
I got a deluxe pedicure, but I felt the massage and hot stone massage was more of just spreading the cream around. Love the massage chair though, but their power tripped halfway through the appointment so it stopped working until they finally fixed the breaker. It’s a very typical Vietnamese nail salon with strong scents of acetone. I do like how they don’t talk to each other during the appointment, but if it’s going to be so silent, maybe have some music on to help with the awkwardness. The pedicure itself was painful during the cleaning process too. Most likely won’t come back since there’s so many better experiences...
Read moreThe oldest lady is awful. I had 2 nails break off in 24 hours and a third one chip. One broke off upon scratching my leg and the other picking up a notebook. I called ahead and spoke to 3 people, each who said I could receive a refund or free removal. I showed up and the old woman told me I could get them redone and nothing else. Absolutely yelled at me for so so long because she was furious I was asking my money back. She said I was being ridiculous and continued to yell long after she and I had finished talking, to anyone who would listen. The other ladies are very sweet but she is absolutely horrid. You can hear her yelling loudly in the background in the video below, where another employee eventually came up and talked to me. The original video is 4 minutes long and the last video I took ended 11 minutes after this one began. If you come here be ABSOLUTELY sure you do not...
Read moreI just moved to Vancouver and have been looking for a new nail salon. I tried bedazzle for the first time and got a pedicure. I was so pleased with the whole experience the staff was very polite and accommodating. The best part was how much time and attention that was given to ensure every detail of my pedicure was perfect. When applying the nail polish, another brush was used to fix any imperfections. I came on a Saturday (presumably busy) but was treated like I was the only customer in the salon by the person who was doing my pedicure. I will definitely be returning for more pedicures and other nail related services and no longer need to search for a nail salon in the...
