My recent journey with Curve of Time on their liveaboard expedition was nothing short of a magical adventure! From the moment we set sail to our final farewell, every aspect of this experience exceeded my wildest expectations.

One of the highlights of this incredible journey was our exploration of the pristine marine park known as Desolation Sound. Words cannot adequately describe the breathtaking beauty that unfolded before our eyes. The beautiful emerald waters, lush forests hugging the coastline, and the symphony of nature in full bloom - it was like stepping into a living postcard. The daily change of anchor spots allowed us to immerse ourselves in different slices of this paradise, each one more captivating than the last.

The serenity of being out in the wild, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, was truly an unparalleled experience. The rhythmic motion of the sea under the starry night sky brought a sense of calm and introspection that I haven't felt in years. It was a beautiful reminder of our connection with nature and the importance of preserving our precious planet.

The vessel itself is a work of art. Breathtakingly beautiful and meticulously maintained, it provided the perfect base for our adventure. The sleeping quarters were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest after our days of exploration.

Now, let's talk about the food! The culinary creations served aboard Curve of Time were nothing short of gourmet delights. Every meal was a culinary journey in itself, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients expertly prepared by the onboard chef. It was a true gastronomic experience that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip.

The activities offered were not just fun but also educational. Kayak excursions and hikes along the nearby coastline allowed us to get up close and personal with the natural wonders of the area. We saw all kinds of cool wildlife, from playful seals to majestic eagles soaring overhead. It felt like we were on our own wildlife documentary, and the thrill of these encounters was a highlight of our journey.

In conclusion, my experience with Curve of Time was a dream come true. This liveaboard boat trip surpassed all expectations, offering a perfect blend of adventure, and tranquility. If you're looking for an unforgettable journey through nature's wonders, I wholeheartedly recommend Curve of Time. It's a voyage that will leave you with memories to treasure for a lifetime. Thank you, Curve of Time, for an...

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure this August to cruise as guests for 5 days to the exquisite Broughton Archipelagos on the Curve of Time! I’ve been on many boats and ships of all sizes; however, no adventure compared to this voyage. Just the excitement of roaming on the ship itself and being right in the thick of its impressive working operations was a thrill, especially given its unique history. We were all provided the chance to experience the engine room during start up, and Captain Peter generously shared his space at the helm; happy to explain the procedures and answer any questions. All the jovial, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth crew treated us like royalty and catered to our every need throughout the trip, making it very hard to say goodbye at the end! :) The food was a culinary delight with every meal; experiencing the taste of freshly caught crab was such a treat; Chef Alan far surpassed our expectations with all his delicious creations. Every morning, we had the opportunity to kayak or paddleboard on a new and carefully selected pristine bay. What a feeling being out in the Pacific Ocean with only one’s thoughts and the perfect sound and sights of nature. Albeit a careful eye was always upon us, and I must mention the efficiency, expertise, warm hospitality, and overall planning of our excursions and the entire trip was always felt and appreciated. The crew’s passion for the sea, the environment, amazing nature, and enthusiasm for sharing it with us was such a delight! We also went on exciting excursions every day, and yes, we saw Humpbacks, Killer Whales, Seals, Sea Lions, Porpoises, Jellyfish, magnificent Rainbows; saw famous landmarks, and scenery like no other. Five superb days of “BC Bliss”! Thank you, “Curve of Time”, for a trip we will never forget! Sharon...

The scenery was stunning and the crew was so above and beyond that they were above any rating system. The food was excellent and so well prepared, I was surprised that anyone could eat so well on an old trawler. Allan, the cook actually kicked it up a notch each day. Peter, the Captain was clearly extremely competent yet so social, that being in the wheelhouse while moving was as enjoyable to me as any of the activities. Alex the guide was awesome, she was so protective of our little group and was always there to lend a hand or whatever was necessary. Josh the deck hand the youngest took a little time to warm up to us old folks but then jumped in with both feet and was a great person to chat to and watch work. Just being a part of the everyday events on the ship was enjoyable. The cabins were very clean, and when I compared mine to a friend who had been on a cruise last fall, I found I had a much better deal. We were blesses to have the owner Sylvain and his partner Debbie, as his local knowledge and her spontaneity just added to the whole trip that made it extra special. Kayaking in the bays and coves was a lit of fun as it was my first time, and the little hikes to both fresh water lakes and a tidal lagoon were wonderful. The pick up and drop off were easy and we'll handled. On top of the amazing scenery, wonderful food and outstanding staff we also got to see whales, seals, sealing, and some porpouses. In that short time they became friends and yet never lost sight of the fact that they were looking after us, a remarkable achievement I would say. I had a small admin issue with the company, but by the time I spoke to Sylvain he had been aware of it and taken steps. This trip was wort every penny, and with the converted trawler it was not just a tour but...

Just finished a great trip through the Broughton Archipelago. The scenery and wildlife experiences were amazing - finally got to see a black bear (on the shoreline while kayaking). Kayaking early in the morning fog each day and the peace and solitude this offered each morning were fantastic. Saw so many whales, seals and otters on zodiac trips which were a lot of fun. Staff on board were so good - nothing was ever a hassle, they always had a smile on their faces and were up for a chat. So much yummy food from Allan in the galley - you need to kayak each day to burn it off :) Things that could be improved (and why 4 not 5 stars) for us were the facilities. Obviously water conservation on a boat is important, however it should be possible for guests to have a consistently functioning/temperature short shower each day given we were being quite active and for the price we are paying. Also seems we ended up in the smallest/ very cramped room for the 5 days (no storage, no seating, no shelves) on the boat despite booking 8 months ahead and paying the same price as others on the main deck that did have those facilities. Would be good to be able to book specific rooms so you know what you are getting ahead of time.
