An interesting small old house with old furniture. We had a tour around the first floor. The second floor is closed to the public. Kind of similar to Emily Carr's house (no wonder). It has a cool semi-painting map of old times, where you can see a lot of familiar buildings and streets.

Description
Helmcken House is a museum in Victoria, British Columbia, located in Thunderbird Park. It was built by Dr. John Sebastian Helmcken, the first doctor in Victoria, in 1852, a surgeon with the Hudson's Bay Company. It is one of the oldest houses in British Columbia.
