Timeless Tattoo Company — Attraction in Whitby

My experience was a little unconventional. About a year ago I booked a tattoo appointment with an apprentice. I wanted two very small tattoos and was told it would only be a $50 total charge due to apprentice being the one to do it and they basically only charge for using the product. Okay that was perfect because I couldn't decide between the two tattoos and now I didn't have to.

I go to the appointment, check in etc. I booked with a specific apprentice and when I got there I was told she was "too busy now" and a less experienced person would be doing it. Ok .. what am I supposed to say? I get the tattoos done. The first one I absolutely love. The second one was sloppy, the lines were not really followed by the stencil and it's just not appealing. I also have a couple permanent marks outside of the lines that haven't gone away.. for some reason a senior artist went over the lines of my one tattoo but not the other which was unfortunate. When I went to pay I was told "oh by the way, its actually going to be $50 each tattoo we emailed you yesterday". I did not get an email. And also, if an email was sent, how could you not wait for my consent before performing both tattoos. I never confirmed that I was ok with the new price and wasn't told until it was too late. Had I known they were going to be charged separately in the end, I would have only gotten the one tattoo.

I now dislike the second tattoo so much that I am having it removed. Nothing against the apprentice, but the fact that no one checked the work of the second tattoo and when I went for a touch up I was told it was "fine" and the lines that were not apart of the tattoo would fade. They have not faded and I just find that the service and experience I had overall was super unprofessional. I am now waiting on laser removal quotes.

Ingrid just completed a tattoo cover up for me on my left hand and I couldn’t be happier! The initial tattoo, if you can even call it that, was dreadful and thankfully I had Ingrid to cover it.

Ingrid and the staff at Timeless are down to earth, professional, and friendly! Ingrid took my tattoo ideas and drew up a fantastic piece that I will cherish forever. Her skill as a tattoo artist is exceptional! Ingrid was extremely attentive to the details and had a strong knowledge of design. Her line work is extremely clean and the final result is exactly what I had imagined.

The shop itself is clean, inviting, and super chic. Timeless Tattoo is a modern rustic styled shop with exposed wooden elements and neat animal and plant decor. Their shop is also stocked with neat independent-design accessories, apparel, and housewares. If you like nifty recycled materials and enjoy a good giggle, you’re missing out because you’re reading this and not at the shop.

An important thing to mention is that they support the community and local charities that are important to them, which is another stellar reason why you should book an appointment right now!

My sister and I came down for her birthday to have Kaelyn do our matching tattoos that my sister had done a rough drawing of. Kael redrew and designed our original piece PERFECTLY! She is very talented, professional and super easy to communicate with to make your tattoo dream come true! I have never been more impressed with a tattoo before (and this was my 28th tat!!), there is genuinely not the slightest thing even remotely wrong with it what so ever! It is truly absolutely PERFECT in every way! My sister and I have received so many compliments on them, even from people who don’t have tattoos/care for them, have commented on how incredible the line work is. When my sister drew out tattoo, I knew exactly who we needed to do it. Kael is definitely beyond talented when it comes specifically to making sure those lines are crisp and straight! Everyone at the shop was super friendly and welcoming. It was overall an amazing experience and beautiful way to celebrate my sister birthday! 10/10, HIGHLY recommend!
