Wednesday September 11, I had a very good experience at Sephora!
While shopping at Polo Park and walking by Sephora, I just thought that I would talk to someone about getting some retinol to get my crows feet manageable and ask for some good advice on skin care!
So, I spoke to the front desk young lady and she listened to me and said she knew just the retinol product that would likely work for me. And she pointed out where the Skinfix retinol was on the shelf inside the store and told me to just ask for assistance when I get there. She had to stay at the front of the store.
So, I wandered over to where the retinol is and looked around for help. One guy did offer to help me out, but he had a couple of other people who needed his advice at the same time as me.
Then Remi stepped in to help me out. And she was able to understand what my face skin needed and picked out some skin care products for my specific face skin care needs!
She was able to put together a package of products and a skin care routine: skinflix barrier + foaming oil cleanser and skinflix barrier +triple lipid collagen eye treatment with a good skin lotion ( I received 2 samples: Tatchua: the dewy skin cream & Kiel's Ultra facial cream, which is likely overkill for skin cream!).
Those 3 products twice a day - morning and before bed and then Paula's choice 1% Retinol with peptides and vitamin C once a week!
I found out from Remi that I was overusing Retinol twice a day previously, but not recently. Remi then said I still have very nice skin on my face. I thought that's good; I would look terrible if I didn't have any skin on my face!
Thanks very much to Remi, the very helpful cashier lady who made sure I got my free lotion samples and registered me with Sephora Beauty Insider club (that might be helpful to future girlfriends or myself) and the younger looking than her age lady at the store front for making my face a little more...
Read moreI know it's the holidays and everything but even when it's not busy the selection is always little to none on the "must have" items. I went in a week ago for some Morphe products for my daughter for Christmas. She was excited they sold them in store now and had picked out multiple palettes and other items from Stila, Tarte and other skincare items. As soon as I got in the store I was overwhelmed with how PACKED it was and no one was following covid rules. Everything she chose was not in-stock and quite frankly even the things she didn't want weren't either. I was lucky enough to find a Morphe eyeliner in the wrong spot as if it was hidden and the new palette that someone put back in the wrong spot at the front display. They didn't have the correct shape tape shades She needed so I wasn't able to get that either. Also the line up to pay was super long and there was no bags at all so I had to carry around my purchases in the mall until I bought something else so I could put them in there. I was stopped at almost every store exit as they thought I was walking out with unpaid merchandise and had to show them my receipt and explain that Sephora didn't have any bags.
The only reason I gave 3 starts was because the girls at the tills were super nice, professional and very apologetic for the slim selections and no bags and I understand that these issues are not thier fault at all! The girl at the till helped me find my Sephora account and gave me my birthday item and let me know I still had my 20% off coupon code so that was a nice surprise for myself and my wallet 😊
Sephora PoloPark please do better with stock, especially around the holidays! And also please enforce covid guidelines like sanitizing before entry, masks over the nose and amount of people...
Read moreI will never visit this store again! Manager(Sherry) was super rude , using her hands with her eyes rolling at me and telling me to stop explaining what the situation is. As per written policy of Sephora, i can exchange something if its open packaging as long as its very gently used, i have purchased so much before and if I don’t like colours on my skin I exchanged them few times in past, Because when i first came to Sephora for the first time that is what i was told that i can order online if something is out of stock in store and if colours don’t go with my skin i can exchange them always as long as its within 30 days, this time i only got this item 2 days ago and right after 2 days i went to exchange because Color did not go well with my skin, store manager refused to do exchange at first and told me “this is open and they can’t take it back, this is our store policy” but she is telling lie to her customer, this is not what written policy says, not only that ,i was just standing waiting for her to make final decision, even though I was just looking straight and had no intentions to look at her, she said “ you can look at my name , allll you want, nothing is gonna happen “ ohhhh myy , i did not knew your name before and i did not notice, but good thing you gave me a idea to notice it because now I know who you are “Sherry” . I would rate 0 if i had the option. Watch out what they say, read policies yourself, besides that when i spoke to online customer service, they said it is totally fine to exchange or even return with full refund even if its open, its no problem as long as its gently used to check colours, Wow “Sherry” don’t lie about your policies, do some reading since you are the manager, I wonder then what will you...
