I didn't realise this place was on Google Reviews. Anyway, a few years ago, we tried to arrange a passport for our baby daughter. There were problems with registering her in the UK, and we needed to leave in a few months (We had terminated our university work contracts and we wanted to return to Europw with our new born baby).
Did they care? No chance, like the previous review, I was polite and restrained. Nevertheless, I had the phone slammed down, and I was told I was rude because I was asking questions, etc.
Considering our daughter's grandparents fought for Britain during the War (Royal Navy), her relatives were blitzed out of their homes, etc. The situation we ended up in was an absolute disgrace.
Finally, we applied for a Polish passport through her mother, and it took about 5 weeks... personal visits to the Polish Consulate in Shanghai, etc. Together with the Shanghai Consulate, an absolute bunch of cowboys. Ashamed...

Operator was nice, but when I got through to the consular office, I had such a niche issue that which the girl who answered wasn't sure about, I SLIGHTLY interrupted her (cus I didn't wanna waste time), and she starts having a go at me saying 'I'm trying to help you. Stop being so rude!' I barely even did anything. I thought that was very uncalled for. I didn't raise my tone or anything. Maybe she's been having a bad day, or gets a lot of nasty calls, but that's no reason to take it out on me...Apart from that, I can't anything about setting up appointments online. After choosing the English language option, I was listed a few options before being asked to stay on hold if I wanted to speak to an operator. When I was connected to the operator she answered in Chinese, but when I asked if she spoke English (in English) she immediately hung up the phone. I called again, making sure that I correctly chose the English language option before being connected again to the same operator. This time I spoke Chinese and she was willing to keep me on the line.
