香港兒童探索博物館 Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum — Attraction in Hong Kong

We've been to the HK Children's Discovery Museum with my daughter twice and we don't even live in Hong Kong. This is one of the few places that she asks to go back each time we visit.

6 months after our first trip to the museum, our daughter (5 years old at the time) asked whether a video she was watching was on a green screen. We asked her how she knew about green screens and she reminded us she learned about it at HKCDM!

My 3, nearly 4 year old loved it here. It was our first visit and we booked online to spend 1.5 hrs here. He could have stayed longer if given the choice - lots of well resourced areas, with the best area being the water section. It was quiet when we went (Sunday afternoon) which was great for us. They have aprons and driers but a change of clothing is recommended. A little on the pricey side: adult (140hkd) and a child...

Visited the museum during its soft opening period. It contained ample materials for free play, messy play and scientific exploration.

Staff at the water corner offered guidance and explanation actively. Even adults could enjoy the facilities with the kids.

Would be great if some samples could be displayed in the construction corner as very young kids may be not used to build with unstructured/...
