Shalimar India — Restaurant in Hong Kong

I don't want to give a bad review as I heard the boss here really cares about their food quality. But I must leave a reference for myself that.. I had a few bites of their lamb vindaloo. It could be the spiciness was too overwhelming to my stomach, or maybe cleanliness issue, I don't know. My stomach hurts a lot after a few hours of eating just some of it. Welcome back Shalimar! This restaurant used to be an authentic Indian restaurant loved by TaiPo-ers. The new place is inside a bar, it's quite dark and smelly coz someone was smoking. It used to be operated by an Indian family, but in the new place all staffs were locals, I wonder where the Indian aunties go. Food was okay. But price was a bit high. I'd prefer the previous Indian design and decorations rather than the current dark old...

This is an awesome place to get a curry. I spent a month in India and I know the curry here to be authentic! No need for me to go all the way to TST to get a decent curry anymore.
