Excellent for locals with Hong Kong ID, but could be a complete nightmare for visitors, especially during weekends or public holidays. I came here from Macau on 1 July, which is a HK public holiday. I arrived at the Hong Kong side of immigration before 6pm, but didn’t pass the immigration until 8pm. 2 hours of just waiting in the queue with thousands of other visitors, but only 4 visitor booths were open!!!! Thousands of visitors vs 4 booths, what a joke! This puts bad reputations against Hong Kong’s image of being highly efficient, and also unfair for the hard working officers sitting in these 4 booths. Seriously, Hong Kong immigration, you could have done a lot better. The HMZ bridge is not a new thing, and 1st July public holiday has been in place since 1997, of course you can envisage and forecast this level of visitors.

electronic tickets booths in HK & Macau are selling one way tielectronic tickets booths in HK & Macau are selling one way tickets with local currency & payment methods. if you are not having an Octopus card (HK) or Macau Pass to purchase tickets on electronic ticket booths; then you have to queue up for a ticket; which please expect a queue.

A wonder structure of architecture with lots of natural light coming in. The payment of ticket is quick and easy. If you do not have alipay or wechat pay, you can pay at the counter. Please do note pay with the local currency.

You can go to Macau and Zhuhai by this port because this port can let you go by driving or walking. For those who has the China driving license you can just show the Hong Kong ID Card to the immigration. It is so fast and easy to drive to there by cars. For those who didn't have the China driving license they have to go to Tung Chung to take the bus and then go to this Hong Kong bridge port to go through the immigration. It is too easy to go to there by car or yourself. So i suggest people who doesn't have the China license i suggest you do it now because it was so fantastic that you drive through the bridge of HKZMP in this journey takes about 1 hour to go to the...

If you are of ASEAN nationality traveling from Macau to Hong Kong, you will be stopped and interviewed by the immigration there. I have no idea why it is this specific immigration port that does this, but they have stopped many Thai/Philippine/Indonesian nationals and taken them into the interrogation room even if you provide all the necessary documents, which happened to the only two Thai nationals in my group but everyone else was free to pass. A week later, another family member of the Thai national was also stopped there… Please be aware of this when traveling and it is very disheartening and discouraging of how they treat other ASEAN...
