First i would like to thank Disneyland and its performer in the park. Really great and outstanding.

But, there a few things i would like to mention in your hotel.

After my booking online, i have made a few request to make sure my family and myself first visit to your hotel would be great, i sent an email on 23/3 to make sure of ready arrival on our hotel check-in on 5/4 and park visit on 6/4. One of my request was an early check-in on our arrival as i know that your check-in is at 3pm, we arrive on april 5th just before 1pm but sad to know that the room wont be ready till 3-4pm. I mean i requested an early check-in but instead, it was the other way around. Late check-in instead. So we decided to wait on the lounge area because it was raining. I received a text message at 3:49 that our room was ready and our room number is 3057. After the kids moaning and checking what time our room will be ready because of the long wait, finally they where excited to go to our room. We needed to look where the room is and decided to ask which direction.

After being in the room for less than an hour, 4:43pm, someone tried opening our door with a KEY, luckily, we double locked the door. It was one of your staff, so i opened the door and she came straight inside our room went to cabinet in-front of the tv and gave this towel wrapped with heart shape for Happy anniversary and left and said goodbye.. i was SHOCKED. The intrusion of using a key to open the door, (what if it was not doubled locked) do you care about privacy? We where all shocked and the kids ask, what just happened? and aggressiveness… We should not feel like this and surely not be intrude like this.

Room service was great and efficient. But, when the food was delivered i gave the guy a tip. I called the concierge if i should bring out the trolly out of the door and she said say. So i left it outside, after a few minutes, the same guy knocked, i looked outside and the trolly is gone already, he was holding a bill folder and i ask if that was for me, he said no, but it made me feel that he was asking for more tips for taking the trolley away. Again, another point to look into of how your guest would feel that we need to give again for taking the food trolley away.

Checking out of the hotel on April 6th before going to the park. Apparently, we need to pay extra for the extra ticket for the park which we have already paid online with our hotel stay, there where confusion of what else i need to pay, after talking to her supervisor, she realized the ticket was paid. Then thats when she said that we need to pay extra for peak plus day and we paid only regular day. April 6th was a regular day and not a public holiday. Also when we booked online we where given the option to pay for regular day. My suggestion on your booking platform is that adjust all your online purchasing for the certain charges (ie if its public holiday) customer can only pay for that peak plus ticket. On the regular day, only available paying is regular day ticket. Why give 3 option ticket option?? Does not make any sense. Then you have asked me to pay extra because its peak plus day? Really? You decide which day is peak plus day. This should be reported to consumer council on your practice that you have in place.

After a tired long day, taking an uber was a distance walk that we had to pass the huge carpark to reach our uber car. What a walk.

All in all, I think you can see that our experience was a let down. I don't often feel as impassioned to write such granular critique of hotel stay that I have visited, but feel that this occasion warranted such a response. I hope you can build from our experiences at your hotel.

We hope one day to come back to enjoy a...

A hotel that has successfully taken the fun out of Disney

We have currently booked two rooms for a 4 night stay at this hotel and after our first night we must say we have been very disappointed with our Disneyland Hotel experience. I do wish we had stayed elsewhere and just travelled to Disneyland park instead.

Let’s start with the positives. The guy who checked us in was just amazing and one particular cast member, Aiman from Singapore, was extremely friendly and helpful. The trick-or-treat walkabout was fun for the children although perhaps they should have included a Disney character at some point to make it more exciting for the children

Otherwise we do not have many positive things to say about this hotel. The rules and regulations throughout the hotel are extreme and the staff, even though trying to be friendly and helpful, are restricted by the rigid rules of the hotel and many of them seem robotic. They give the standard answer that safety is very important but the way they used raised, curt voices at children and deliver the rules makes this hotel feel like a school, rather than the happiest place on earth.

Our most disappointing experience has been the pool. The life guard there was extremely unpleasant. He shouted from across the pool when my 5 year old son jumped into a 1.1m pool. It was not even a large jump but basically stepping into the pool from the side (it certainly was not a cannonball jump). When I asked him what the issue was he just vaguely signed to me. I asked him if there a rule against having fun… to which he answered “no fun”. The slide at the pool had a height limit and I really do not see why you have to be more than 1m to ride a very gentle slide, especially if the child is a competent swimmer. The lifeguard also shouted at my elderly father and said he was not allowed to stand at the side of the pool when he tried to take a photo of my son. The rules at the pool and the rude lifeguard are absurd.

When a Goofy character appeared, my children were just approaching curiously and were nowhere close to him but the accompanying cast members pushed the children away which I feel was unnecessary. This could have been handled so much better. A 3 year old and 5 year old child who are nowhere close to the Goofy character are not going to cause any harm and this definitely spoilt their disney experience.

The Walt cafe only offers one child dish and the only other option is a side dish of macaroni cheese . Besides the Chinese restaurant there are no other a la carte options. For a Disney hotel the restaurants are extremely child unfriendly unless you want to spend an exorbitant amount on the buffet option and young children do not eat much at a buffet.

Our room is dated and definitely does not reflect the high daily room rate. We would not recommend this hotel and their emphasis on coupons for discounts and other freebies makes this place feel like a budget hotel which has been priced extremely highly. A properly priced hotel/restaurant would not have to depend on coupons. It is certainly very different from our other Disneyland...

I planned to celebrate my birthday with my seven-year-old daughter at Hong Kong Disneyland and booked a two-night stay in a sea-view room to make things more convenient for her without needing to switch hotels. My birthday falls during Christmas, and the hotel was fully decorated in a festive Christmas theme. Upon entering the hotel grounds, we were greeted by a massive Christmas tree, which gave a warm, beautiful, and grand impression. The lobby had high ceilings, creating an open and majestic atmosphere, with hidden Disney characters adding charm to various corners. The hotel’s decor made us feel like princesses staying in a modern castle.

At check-in, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel offered a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for children, both free and paid, making it an ideal choice for families. As we arrived in the evening, we managed to catch the “Bedtime Stories” activity, where someone read stories to the kids for about 30 minutes. Afterward, we went up to our room feeling tired and found that our luggage had already been delivered. To our delight, there was a small and adorable birthday surprise waiting—a card and gift set to celebrate the occasion.

The room featured subtle Disney-themed details, such as slippers, bathroom amenities, and bedding, with hidden Disney characters on the headboard and mirrors. While the room wasn’t very spacious, it was cozy. I had booked a sea-view room, hoping for a broad ocean view, but the sea was only visible on the right-hand side and quite far away. However, the view of the hotel’s central garden, which was lush and tranquil, made up for it.

We opted for breakfast on both days, hoping to take pictures with Disney characters. Both mornings featured Mickey Mouse and Pluto, which was slightly disappointing as we had expected different characters each day. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering many cartoon-themed pastries that delighted my daughter. She especially loved the Disney-branded milk cartons but was a bit sad that they weren’t available on the second day. Overall, the food was delicious, and the staff, dressed as Disney maids, were attentive and charming.

After breakfast, we strolled through the garden and walked a bit further to a private beach. The beach was peaceful, with stunning views and no crowds—one of Hong Kong’s most beautiful and exclusive seaside spots.

The hotel provided shuttle buses every 10–15 minutes to the theme park, and staying at a Disneyland hotel allowed us access to a special entrance with no queues. After a long day at the park, it was very convenient to return to the hotel to rest. The hotel also featured multiple restaurants and a gift shop. On check-in, we received discount coupons for the shop and restaurants within the hotel.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a special experience. While the room rates are quite high, especially during Christmas and New Year, the beautiful hotel, private sea views, and six-star service make it a fantastic choice for a memorable family...
