Read moreToyzone (玩具地帶) is part museum, part consignment store. They have the largest selection of retro toys in Hong Kong at market prices. They have toys from my favorite anime's that I have never seen before. When you purchase items, the staff will open the items for you to inspect before you leave the store. That part is critical because you don't want to leave with missing items. You get to inspect the toy for loose joints, discoloration or defects in manufacturing. Paying cash will save you a credit card fee. You can easily spend an hour here because of the wide selection. Some of the aisles are really small. Be sure to look up and down because stuff are stacked to the ceiling. The cashier gave me a free paper bag. For plastic bags, they have to charge a fee. Well done...

Staff would rather play on his phone or eat behind the counter. Won't even get up, needs to know which cabinet and we said "how would we know how you categorize toy cabinets". Asked us to go all the way back to find the cabinet number ourselves and tell him, before he gets up. Walked off, a HKD1600 piece of guaranteed business walked off with us. Would advise Toyzone management to install CCTV at the Cashier Counters to monitor their staff performance and attitude to customers. They seem to really hate working there, not giving a care whether they turn...
