It gave me a night of diarrhoea.

I shall start commenting their pad-thai in soup. It tasted something funny, a bit minty and a bit lemon-like; I thought it was those exotic spice, or herb, or plant, or something from Vietnam that brought the soup that taste, but now it felt more like the remnants of detergent that upset my stomach.

Including chicken wings, both shrimp and squid cakes, and deep fried rolls; everything they served were obviously from the grocery store, the taste of mass production. It was like eating directly next to the refrigerator of a supermarket, and I had a strong belief that I could made better reheated food than they did.

The dessert was a piece of cake with small scope of whipped cream on the side. (A butterfly was clinging to the cream, but there was no hint if it was edible or a printout of some clip art) It was undoubtedly packed food from the convenience stores, and those sloppy ones you would never consider buying.

The roasted coffee was very bitter, the bitterness was metaphorically like some burnt charcoal dissolved...

Finished work in Shau Kei Wan and walked past Old Street Vietnam. A bowl of pho would be the perfect comfort food after a long day so I had no second thoughts and popped in to grab dinner.

Snack Platter A combo from refreshing cold appetizers including pomelo salad and veggie rice roll to hot munchies like beef skewer, chicken skewer and spring roll. The skewers went perfectly with the satay sauce tossed with chopped peanuts, while the spring rolls had a thin crispy rice wrapper loaded with savory minced meat fillings.

Deep-fried Chicken Wings Freshly fried huge wings topped with chopped garlic. Smooth and juicy meat under a thick and crunchy batter.

Raw Beef Pho Tender beef that slowly got cooked in a delicate beef broth. The garnishes further enhanced the flavor. Guests could customize the type of noodles.

Jasmine Rose Tea Aromatic and flowery, bittersweet...
