文化公园 — Attraction in Shenzhen

There wasn't a place in Guangzhou or Shenzhen that I didn't enjoy. From street food vendors to the huge flower garden. The food is incredible. If you like fish at all, you have to try the Duo Jiao fish head. I had it 3 or 4 times! Watching people do 5-point turns on a 6-lane road in the middle of downtown is hilarious & time well wasted.

Bring your own toilet paper! When you poop in the places with no seat, apparently you remove your pants & underwear to keep the contortionism down to a minimum. If you don't think you'll remember toilet paper (which they sell in little packets like nose tissue) put on two pairs of socks! ;^)

Almost all movies are 3D & downtown anyplace has tons of shopping...

It is better to call this place Dong Men Square. It is very popular for both local residents and visitors to Shenzhen. It is famous for buying local products and food at very cheap prices. Many people buy food from the cooked food kiosks and eat on the street, either standing for squatting to taste the food they have just bought. This makes up part of the pedestrian street. Lively and exciting place to be. Loads of shopping and snacks on offer. If you shop, do bargain aggressively. The snacks are dishes from all over China.
