⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-See Colombian Gem, and an Unforgettable Experience at Guatapé Rock, and a Must-Visit in Medellín: The Majestic Guatapé Rock Climbing the Guatapé Rock is an absolute highlight of any adventure trip to Medellín. This massive monolith is a breathtaking sight, towering over the surrounding landscape. The 740-step climb is rewarded with panoramic, breathtaking views that are simply awe-inspiring. The small town of Guatapé itself is charming, with colorful houses and a vibrant atmosphere. The boat ride across the reservoir to the rock is a peaceful and scenic experience. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Medellín. It's a unique and unforgettable adventure that offers a glimpse into Colombia's natural beauty. Guatapé Rock is one of the highlights of every trips to Medellín! The journey itself is beautiful, with vibrant Colombian landscapes and charming towns along the way. But the true magic begins once adventures arrive at this incredible monolith. Climbing the 740 steps may sound daunting or challenging, but each step rewards visitors with even more breathtaking views. Once at the top, visitors met with a 360-degree panorama of stunning lakes, green islands, and hills stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s truly a surreal sight, one that no photo can ever capture fully. The experience doesn't end with the view—there are shops and cafes at the summit where tourists can relax and soak in the scenery. The small town of Guatapé nearby is also worth a visit, with its colorful streets and friendly locals. If you're visiting Medellín, Guatapé Rock is a must-see. Whether you're into nature, photography, climber just looking for a memorable adventure, this place offers it all. Absolutely recommend it for anyone traveling through Colombia! HIGHLY...

Today I had the privilege to climb to the top of the Guatape Rock for epic breathtaking views!!

I got dropped off at the bottom of the hill which gives a nice warmup for when you get to the actual rock.

Take your time there are over 700 steps from here! Can easily be done in 20 minutes add a little bit if you take lots of breaks.

The high elevation makes it tough but bearable to breath and will make you regret all those empanadas, arepas and baked goods you've been enjoying lately. What a great workout!

The cost was 25000 Pesos. Arrive around 8am during the week. Too busy to enjoy. If possible to beat the crowds and buses that show up. There will hardly be anyone there and you can take amazing pictures ❤️ AVOID THE WEEKEND at all costs. It will be busy

.What a great experience. After grab a coffee or food and chill on an overhanging patio to enjoy the views some more.

I could not imagine how hard it was to build the stairs right into the rock with concrete. Incredible! Please enjoy this wonderful experience 😀

This is a spectacular attraction about a 2 hour drive from Medellin that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Colombian landscape. The admission fee to climb to the top of the rock was 25,000 pesos. The climb itself is moderately difficult owing to the many steps and higher altitude of the region (about 2000 meters above sea level) but one can take breaks at intervals to make it more comfortable. At the base of the rock are many establishments geared towards tourists like souvenir shops and restaurants. This attraction is definitely worth a visit because of the picturesque views of the beautiful Colombian countryside from the top...
