Restaurante la Villa de Pancho — Restaurant in Guatapé

I was scammed by this restaurant. I asked for a shot of a bottle of foreign liquor on the shelf and was quoted a price for a shot. Well, they charged me double because it was “trago” price and not a shot. Basically, they’re charging double for a normal sized shot. 2 tragos = 1 shot of liquor.

I have been to about 15 countries and never experienced this little trick/scam before. I’m sure they get gringos all the time with this little trick.

They had the bartender and 2 cooks explaining to me why I need to pay 28 mil cpo instead of 14 mil as I was verbally quoted. For me, it’s the scamming and dirty tactics more than the actual price. Foreigners: beware. If your spanish is not 100% I would avoid drinking...
