It not only has the best music, the best vibe but it also has the best place to eat in La Fortuna right next door, it’s called “El Mercadito Arenal”. GO, discover and have fun! You could go to “El Mercadito”, have dinner first and then party at “Magma” the best club in town.

Cool club! We went on a Saturday, and the vibe was great! They mostly play Reggaeton, which I really enjoyed. The club isn’t the biggest, but it’s still a great spot. I’d recommend going after 11 PM, as it doesn’t fill up too early.

If they can tell that you are not a local then they will scam you. They tried to tell me that my drink was 100,000 colons ($200 USD). Do not fall for it.

Edit since it won’t let me reply to Magma’s response: This was no issue of language barrier and it was not a bucket drink. It was a standard vodka cranberry. A man originally handed me the drink and when I asked how much, he pulled over a woman and whispered in her ear. Then, she turned to me and said in perfect English “100,000.” We continued to have a conversation in English to which I told her that is a lot. She then went to a register and printed out a receipt with the correct price and brought it to me. This was definitely an attempt to scam. Otherwise, why wouldn’t she have brought me that receipt in the first place and why did she try to tell me an...
